AB, the pain is a little better now that I have been up for a few hours. Thanks!  I hear you about not feeling like mowing. I needed the grass clippings, so was on a mission.

I've never used our weed eater, but figure it can't be too complicated.  My husband trims down to the dirt around the sprinkler heads.  He really has lost his ability to do so many things he did all of his life.  Alzheimer's is a strange disease.

The last year or so before I started my taper off of clonazepam, I started avoiding people.  I was shy by nature, but when I finished my degree and started teaching, I had to talk.  It wasn't just large crowds, but people in general. I was a walker and made friends around the neighborhood, then started crossing the street when I saw someone  was coming my way.  I never thought it was odd, but finally put a name for it on here as I read my way through the BB site.

Perhaps it really isn't agoraphobia, as I can walk through the grocery store and Costco an not get stressed. The lights in Home Depot were terribly blinding during my taper.  That has gone away, thankfully.

The anxiety and GAD are both awful to have. Maybe that is more of what I have rather than agoraphobia. Probably a shrink could tell me, but that's what got me into the benzo mess in the first place.

Sorry Heyilona,

But as NG said, all waves do pass in their own timeline...but they DO pass!

Hold on and be thankful you're not getting zero nights right now...

Sorry to hear heyilona. Is insomnia the only issue you have remaining?

I think I got in another 6 and it was decent.

Enjoy your Wednesday Everyone.

Sorry to hear about your wave heyilona. I got about 3 hours of light dream filled sleep last night. Not great but I guess it’s better than nothing. Can’t wait till I get to the other side of this insomnia nightmare.

AB, the fitbit is 1.5 inches across. It's a square, so side to side and top to bottom.

I have reading glasses, but can read the time quite okay without my readers.

AB, my fitbit is synced to my android phone, which is where I check all my stats. All you need see on the watch is the time.

Ok NG....thanks! I returned the cheap one I tried out today and placed an order for the fitbit. I am mostly interested in sleep tracking and my HR during exercise and at rest. I have a HR chest strap monitor/sensor and the app on my iPhone. It is really accurate, but I don't like wearing the strap for long periods to monitor my resting and exercise heart rates. I think I will like the fitbit after talking to you, but if I do not for whatever reason, I have got 30 days to return that also.  :)

Hope you sleep well tonight!

Good morning all,

AB, sounds like a good plan to try out the Fitbit.  If it doesn't work out, you can return it. Hopefully you like it!

healing, sorry to hear you are having a bad week.  Wishing you good sleep soon.

heyilona, the wave has to end soon.  It seems something is going on with the stars/planet or whatever. I have had a terrible week, also.

Last night I didn't really sleep.  I thought about stuff that so didn't matter in my life, but there it was.  I just couldn't turn my brain off no matter what I did.

Today I need to change the oil in the lawnmower. I have never done that, but here goes. I bought a siphon at Home Depot along with some engine oil.  Then I need to find a filter and clean that out.  I don't know if "I've got this or not!" ha

I'm still having headaches and neck pain, though it is better.  The night before last, I took a left over pain pill from my knee surgery, at 3:00 am.  It helped a little, but gave me brain fog.

Take care everyone,

NG

Is this a push or riding mower NG?

Sorry to hear you are having a rough day healing. I hope things let up soon for you.

I did not sleep very good last night but it was kinda my fault. I need to be more consistent about the good sleep hygiene habits. I think I may have gotten 2 hours last night  :'(. I am sure I will do better tonight if I can resist any urge to nap today.

Enjoy your Thursday everyone.

AB, the mower is a self propelled Toro.

I did just fine with the siphon taking out all of the oil.  Started the mower and it sounded fine.

I do need to probably replace the spark plug or at least have one on hand.

The filter didn't become apparent, so I'll get the instruction book and read that again.  A lot of places should be oiled.

AB, good sleep hygiene habits are good to follow.  I slept better after I spent Easter night in the ER, than I had for a long, long time.

Perhaps it was the result of no sleep and relief that my heart wasn't having an attack.

Sleep well everyone,

NG

How big is your lawn NG? I just finished all the cutting, leaf blowing and weed eating yesterday. Now, I am burning yard debris in some burn barrels outside.

I got about 6 hours last night I think and only got up one time to use the bathroom. It was decent sleep.

Happy Friday everyone. Try to enjoy your day.

I think I got in another 6-6.5 hours of sleep and the quality was good.  :)

Enjoy your weekend.

Good morning,

That’s great to hear AB, I hope they keep coming for you. I only got 3 hours last night. It wasn’t that great of quality. I really look forward to getting even 5 or 6 hours of deep restful sleep.

Hi everyone,

Back on BB after a couple of days off.

Slept really well every night this week. Usually some 7 hours of deep(ish) sleep with just the one bathroom visit after about 4 tot 5 hours of undisturbed sleep. No complaints about that!

My eyes are another issue. Saw a specialist eye-doctor yesterday in a university hospital. My own eye-doctor wanted a second opinion. She's not sure what to do next, so could do with a bit of help.  Had lots of tests done, more in another 2 weeks. The jury 's is still out on this one. I'm not a happy chappy right now.  More of a crappy one.

Been hard at work cleaning the patios with a power cleaner. Not quite finished, but it's already looking beautiful!

Had the last tablet of the antibiotics for the tic bite. About time too; I was beginning to get heartburn and a noisy bowel. I hope the antibiotics did their job.

Enjoy yourweekend! .And sleep well!

how are you explaining whats happening with your eyes to the doctor? I am not sure how to convey the degree of discomfort I am in. Did the appointment with the specialist seem fruitful?

Good day all,

I am glad some of you are sleeping fairly well.  Mine was around four hours.  I'm stressing about the upcoming trip next weekend to see my mom.

Hopefully things go well at the airport and on the plane with my husband.  My biggest worry is the bathroom trips in the airport.  If I walk him there, I will probably lose our seats and really can't leave the carryon suitcase alone.  He gets lost so easily.

AB, the lot our home sits on is normal size for a suburb.  I don't know the exact size.

You did a lot of work on yours! I am sure it looks great.

xray, sorry your sleep is not doing so well.  Hopefully things improve soon.  I wish you good sleep tonight!

TS, you were missed.  Your sleep is doing quite well. Keep it up! I hope you get some answers from the university doctor concerning your eyes.  Our vision is so important.

The power cleaning of your patios sounds great. It will look beautiful!

Antibiotics are so important when we need them, but they do have some negative side effects.  Hopefully they did do what they were supposed to do.

It is a lovely sunny day here. I hope to get out and work on the roses.

Hi healing, I do feel for you going through this.

When it happened to me, I just had to go through it and try to go back to sleep.

I could not nap back in the early days, so it was just at night.

This too shall pass. Hang in there my friend.

NG
