Playing bass guitar on this track. Including the intro riff. Gone too soon. Never forgotten.

Cool, this thread's still going.

This thread will live forever. Just like Lemmy, Metallica & Rock n’Roll. None can be killed by death.

At first, I didn't care much for Metallic's tribute to Lemmy with 'Murder One'......BUT as usual, it grew on me like a bad fungus. Now is one of my fav tracks off Hardwired. 'the man in black" .... "born to loose......living to win"  8)

One of things I always luv'd so much about the 'tallica' machine is that a lot of the songs may take 5-6 listens to really start to sink in. They're rhythm and obcure "off beat" tempo changes are hard to get a grasp on. The song becomes better and better and better as you listen.

That all being said if your a fan........if not, I get it. That's why there's chocolate n vanilla  :)

Happy Easter all

I think it’s great they recorded a tribute to Lemmy. He was one of a kind. An inspiration for them to start a band. The vid tells the story of Lemmy’s carreer, from his early days with Hawkind. "Murder One" was Lemmy’s fav amplifier on stage. Many great tracks on "Hardwired". I personally like "Spit Out the Bone" best. And I love Deep Purple’s cover. As well as the original version.

Jack Black never takes his rock seriously and that's why it's fun. But this song made me think of my friend Jeff who died of a heroin overdose.
