Hi RnR,  reading  the posts again I discovered my mistake. Sorry for that.  Let's blame it on my less than great eyesight. I hope the rest of your taper goes without any issues.

Another wonderful sleep! I 'm so happy for you.

I'm pleased to share that my sleep was quite good last night. Over 7 hours of refreshing sleep.  I went to bed 30 minutes earlier than usual and slept until 6 am. No nausea or nerves. Super!

Hoping everyone had a good night's sleep.

Have a wonderful Wednesday.

Good afternoon everyone,

TS, you did so very well with your sleep last night! Seven plus hours is great! You are definitely on the right track.

R&R keeps doing well with 7 plus hours of sleep.

I slept a little over six hours.  It was okay. I did my usual waking up and going back to sleep until 3:30, then it was over.

We awoke to snow on the ground and it has snowed all day.  It looks like around 4 or 5 inches.  I got the fireplace ready a few days ago with wood and half a Sunday paper and lit it this afternoon.

Sleep well!

Good day buddies,

RnR,  that's what I get too. There seems to be a clock that wakes us up around the same time most mornings. But with our current sleep we can't complain.

NG,  the snow sounds lovely and looks lovely as well, but I 'm glad we didn't get it overhere. Very wise of you to prepare the fireplace.  The recycling of Sunday's paper reduces the carbon footprint of burning wood a little.  Lol. Enjoy the warmth of the fireplace. It gives such a nice atmosphere

I slept 7 hours and 15 minutes last night. So happy about that.

After a few sunny days we're back to dark, dull weather again. Some rain is predicted for later today. Plus more wind. Spring is far away still.

Have a lovely Thursday.

Good day all,

I agree with R&R, that I wake up at the same time, even if I go to sleep later. We seem to have internal alarm clocks.

TS, I no longer get a newspaper, but have a cardboard box in the garage full of them from when I did get a paper.  Once upon a time, I subscribed to a morning and evening paper. Eventually the morning paper was bought out by the evening paper. Then  NY company bought out the Denver Post. The paper became smaller and smaller.  When I cancelled the Post a couple of years ago, the paper delivery man kept throwing the Sunday paper.  I would get a card at from him at Christmas time and sent sent him a tip.  Last summer the paper stopped. I assume he retired from delivering papers.

When the stack is gone, I am not sure what I will use to start a cozy fire, when it snows.

You did well with 7 hours and 15 minutes.  So did R&R with a little under 7.

I took a hydroxyzine last night after I dozed off watching TV and I slept 8 hours and 10 minutes. MY sleep is still not the best with continued rapid heart beats and PVCs. Hopefully as the cortisone wears out of my system, my heart rate goes back to normal.

Have a great Thursday everyone.

Hi all,

TS, you did do so very well sleeping! Keep it up!

R&R, congratulations on the 8 hours of sleep. Wow, I am pleased for you!

Enjoy the game between the Blues and the Avs. I will be cheering for the Avs, of course.

Last night I slept 7 hours. The night before I slept 8 hours and 15 minutes.  I took hydroxyzine those nights. It is so lovely to not lie awake for a few hours.

Tonight I will not take anything and hope for the best.

Hello,

RnR,  congrats on your good sleep!

NG, Happy for you for having had two nights with great sleep,  albeit with a little help.

May the best team win!

My sleep was 8 hours last night with just one bathroom break.  Wow, so happy about that!

Wishing us all a blessed Sunday.

Hi,

TS, you did great with 8 hours of sleep and only one bathroom break! I wish you many more nights like that.

R&R, sorry the Blues lost.  There's always next year!

I slept 7 hours and 53 minutes. I took another hydroxyzine last night. Tonight I will be strong and put those meds aside.

Be well everyone.

Hi all,

I slept 7.5 hrs.  Looks like we all got very good sleep last night.

NG, the better team won.  Before the game the Blues traded away their captain along with another decent player for future draft picks.  So maybe next year the Blues will be better than they are now, who knows.  I hope they win today..

Hi there,

Slept a little under 7 hrs.  Let me explain:  I went to bed 1/2 hr late and then was woken up early by a loud "meow" in my face.  Good ol' cat Titan was wanting his morning treats.  Fortunately, I feel rather rested today.

Good day.

R&R, I saw the Blues lost against Ottawa. Next year should be better for them!

Funny Titan woke you up for his morning treats. Did you go back to sleep after that? Nice you feel rested after the wake up kitty call.

TS, how did your appointment go with the rehab specialist?  I'm hoping it went well.

Seven hours of sleep is good!

I slept 6 hours and 25 minutes my first night without hydroxyzine. I'm happy. Maybe tonight will be better.

After four nights of taking hydroxyzine, my ringing ears quieted down some.  Today the left ear may be a little louder. Right ear is mostly always quiet.

Sleep well tonight everyone.

Good morning,

RnR,  your sleep was good. I can think of worse ways of being woken up. Feeling rested is a good feeling.

NG,  your first sleep in 4 nights without sleep-aid was quite good. I can see why it made you happy. The tinnitus being a little better is great!  I have it in my left ear. It got worse now that I started Paxil again three weeks ago. On the up-side; Paxil improved my sleep and stopped the anxiety.

I don't need to see my rehab doc again. I can see the ortho shoemaker without her permission from now on. I'm getting another pair of shoes in a months or two. They're very expensive, but I only pay a small amount thanks to my medical insurance.

Saw the dentist this morning at eight to have my broken molar fixed. He did a fine job as always!

Wishing you both a pleasant Tuesday.

Good evening,

R&R seven hours was good. Cats are good alarm clocks.

TS, that's great you can keep seeing the shoemaker without the doctor's permission.  Another pair of shoes will be nice. I can imagine they are expensive.  Insurance is so important to have.

So happy your molar is fixed and the dentist did a fine job.

I slept almost 7 hours.  Tonight we are getting another snow storm.  It's still winter here.

Good day,

RnR,  so nice you had another good night's sleep.  Cats are funny creatures.

NG, Glad you slept well! Keep it up!

That snowstorm doesn't sound very nice. Hope you can stay in the coming days.

My sleep was a little over 7 hours. So, that's quite ok. I keep waking up around 6 am. No idea why that is. O well.

Enjoy this Wednesday. Stay warm and safe.

Good afternoon,

TS, you did well with some 7 plus hours of sleep. I wake up early a lot, but don't get up until my husband does at 7. I'll do some sit ups and check my phone for any early messages/texts.

The snow storm arrived without fanfare.  I had to take my husband to a 1pm dental appointment. It was still snowing. but the main streets has been plowed, so they were clear. The main road/highway, that I have to go on no matter where I go, had not been touched. I slid a some turning on to highway 121, better known as Wadsworth Blvd, but managed to stay in the track until I turned off. I suppose CDOT's only snow plow was out of gas. ha

I slept around 7 hours. I feel tired and sleepy as I type this.  Hopefully tomorrow I will fee more rested.

Hello NG,

Glad you made it home safe and sound! That’s why I don't like snow. Walking and driving become so much more difficult.

The number of hours you slept is ok, but feeling tired and sleepy isn't.

I slept some 7 hours too. But sleeping on my left side wasn't great. I somehow hurt the muscles around my left elbow yesterday. This makes it harder to find a good spot to put my arm in.

Hope last night's sleep was better for you and you feel rested.

My oldest aunt ( almost 100) died yesterday.  I used to visit her from time to time, but not since the issues with my eyes. Had a phone call with her son.

Hope your Thursday is going to be a good one.

Good morning,

TS, I am so sorry you lost your aunt.  You will always have some sweet memories of her.

Hopefully the left arm pain is less and you were able to sleep better.

7 hours was good.

I slept around 5 hours.  I have some stressors going on right now.

My mother is having more shoulder pain since her cortisone shot two weeks ago.  Getting old is no fun.  We really need to get her into assisted living or perhaps a nursing home, but she is having none of that.  She has mostly forgotten how to email us and will keep asking who we are when we talk on the phone.  She's had a good long life in her home, but I think the time is running out.

I rarely go out after a snow storm, but my husband had a dental appointment, so out we went.  He had forgotten to change out of his slippers and insisted he wanted to wear his hiking, fishing boots, which took longer to get on than his tennis shoes.  So we were running late and I needed to slow down on the snowy streets. uff

Yesterday it was 10 below 0..thats F. Geesh. This morning it has warmed up to 1 below. The weekend promises to be in the 40s.

Happy Friday everyone.

NG

Hello NG,

Sorry to hear about your stressors. I hope things are going to improve asap!

Having to look after your mom and seeing how she is slowly getting worse is tough.. I hope a good solution can be found to change the current situation.

Glad all went well with the appointment and the slippery car ride.

The muscle pain in my left arm is much better.

Ten degrees below Fahrenheit is seriously cold! Having 40 above on Sunday is a crazy leap. But that's weather for you.

We had rain this morning,  but some sunshine this afternoon.  The occasional shower was still possible.  Guess who caught one while out on his bike..? Third day in a row I had this happen to me. Sigh...

Sleep well.

It's good to see that everybody's getting better sleep now, I also got around 7 and 1/2 hours last night. I took a couple month break and used marijuana on and off, I got tons and tons of sleep as well. I lost a few days of sleep whenever I quit using marijuana last week, but it wasn't all insomnia, I still got a few hours here and there.

I always look at it like a break, and then I come back and I'm more healed than I was when I started. I keep inching closer and closer to 4 years, so I'm hopeful that this will be gone before then.

We have been having cold weather, it was 29° the last couple nights in seattle, and that's about as cold as it gets in the Pacific Northwest unless you go further inland. We even got some light snow the other night, I was watching it outside of my window and enjoying it.
