Glad you slept pretty decent.

Hope your day is doable. I applaud you for being able to work. I know I certainly couldn't.

Good morning, I slept a good 6 plus hours. No leg/foot muscle spasms last night. Staying away from all simple sugars.

Feeling quite okay, but did wake up with a headache around 3:45 am. Took two tylenol and managed to go back to sleep.

TS, it is lovely being able to sleep more than 30 minutes.  I could not handle working with so little sleep.

I am sorry you are feeling so awful. Hopefully you are not getting sick with a cold/virus.

Hang in there

HM, you did so very well with sleeping! I am happy for you.

Stay strong

Hi Rodolfo,

Congratulations!

I slept some 5 hours. Woke up and got very anxious straight away. Today I 'm seeing my psychologist. Tomorrow a cardiologist. And on Friday an ENT specialist. Nervous like you wouldn't believe.

Hope everyone slept well.

I slept 5 plus hours. Went to the hand surgeon this morning for another steroid shot in my wrist tendon. I can get one more, then will need surgery.

Congratulations Rodolfo on sleeping so very well!! That's awesome!!

TS, I hope your appointments go well. I totally understand the stress you are under with the upcoming appointments.

Hang in there!

My post disappeared.

Yesterday I woke wired

with huge cortisol surges 4 am.

This am I’m tired, groggy.

Days differ. Stuck to taper

level of 1 mg. in past 24 hr.

Lied on sofa at 8 30 pm

to rest. Asleep there til 1 am.

Then took melatonin 3mg 1 am.

To bed slept til 3 then woke

And slept til 5 am.

Felt so drugged at 1am pre melatonin

Glad to get more sleep. Melatonin gave me

very weird dreams. Not sure if

it gives headaches. Yesterday was

moms birthday. Friend called me,

Therapist contact me, had class,

and hubby made dinner.

So groggy this am. Tyfl

Best of luck to you all.

It’s nice I can share this stuff.

Hi healthyme and nightengale,

Glad you're getting some sleep again.  Hope it continues to go like that. And improves.

Nightengale,  how's your wrist? I hope the treatment works for you!

I slept some 5,5 hours. Not to nervous after waking up. Despite having an appointment with the cardiologist.

All went well, my heart is OK. " A slight variation of the normal " he called it. But absolutely nothing to worry about. Pfffiuw, what a relief!

After I got home I was exhausted. Now trying to relax a bit.

Very kind of your therapist to call, healthyme!  Hope you enjoyed your dinner.

Going to PT again this afternoon.

Hope you're having a good sleep and a peaceful day.

Healthyme,

Yes, these pills can make you have all sorts of days;  better ones, bad ones.

Do your symptoms improve during the day? I have that. So do many others. Sometimes feeling almost "normal" during the evening.

My nose and throat issues may also be because of a cold.

Hope you get going.

Good morning, I slept a good six hours. I hope this trend continues.  I've been doing the relaxation routine I do when I first go to bed, each time I wake up and it does help to put me back to sleep, which didn't used to happen, so I stopped.  My anxiety level was low along with a quiet brain. Meh, my post disappeared when I went to post this, so I'm trying to remember what all I typed.

The muscle spasms came back now and then last night. Not sure why as I have not eaten any sweets at all for a few days, now.

HealthyM, that's great you got some sleep!  You are always in my thoughts. How sweet your husband cooked dinner, the friend called, as well as the therapist. It's always nice to know that we are thought of through these sad, emotional times.

TS, sorry you may have a cold. The evening normal feeling is nice. I often feel best in late afternoons and/or early evenings. It can be a great feeling! I hope your day has gone well.

Hello nightengale,

That's great news. Let's indeed hope this trend does continue! A good way to start your day.

Next thing to improve are the muscle spasms.

Went to PT this afternoon: she had me doing gentle exercises on several contraptions, all meant to make my muscles get stronger. Went home feeling like I 'd been hit by a truck, but feeling better now.

Enjoy your day.

Woke at 3 40 am

Hated it. But did sleep

total of 6 hrs broken in half.

Just can’t get my

emotional life together.

Grief crushed me.

It brought out all my life

trauma. Estranged somewhat

from brother. Sister disabled.

Wonder about physical

symptoms too. Have had some.

Wish I could start my life all over

and do things differently. Ty

Good morning, I slept around 4 hours. The injection site above my wrist was itching and would not stop, even with the Benadryl I took at bedtime. Got up at midnight and took a Costco OTC allergy pill. That did give me some relief after some time.

Today I have my 11 year old granddaughter because of a teacher's inservice. She will want to go to the stables to ride her horse, so am trying to gear myself up for being out in the cold, yet this is so irrational, as I will survive. I should be happy to be out in the fresh air.

HealthyM, I hope the wave of sadness lifts. You will make it through this.  All we can do is put the road we've traveled behind us and keep on moving forward. It may help to focus on the good things, like your husband fixing dinner and the phone calls. You are loved and cared for.

TS, sounds like the PT is doing what it is supposed to do. As the saying goes, no pain, no gain. I'm happy you did feel better as the day moved on.

Hi nightengale,

Had a bad night: went to bed early because I was so tired. Woke up after a couple of hours and couldn't get back to sleep. So anxious,  because of the appointment today with the ENT specialist. I was having small nose bleeds for a couple weeks. This whole week I had a soar throat. So exament me and burnt a few tiny bloodvessels in my right nostril. The left one is due early April. The throat was OK. Again, a huge relief. Having health anxiety, I immediately fear for the worst to happen. The Dr applaud some antibiotics on the treated wounds. This makes me feel nauseous. Ughh. Went to bed for an hour, but felt worse, so I got up again. Hope things improve tonight.

Glad you slept better. Hope you enjoy the time,e with your granddaughter.

Hi healthyme,

Sorry you're having this too. I know what you mean. Nightengale has given you some wonderful advise. Hope you feel better soon.

We all know how hard this journey is. Hold on.

Hello,

Slept just under 5 hours. After waking up I started to get a warm pressure like feeling on my chest. And some shortness of breath.

My heart is found to be OK just this Thursday,  so it couldn't be that. Been having this for the last two weeks.  Must be a anxiety related thing.  Got up a few times to have a drink of water,  as I was quite thirsty. That's new as well. Got up and had breakfast. Things have settled down again. Only the nausea is still there.

My nose is still somewhat congested after yesterday ' s treatment. Not allowed to blow my nose.

Hope you slept well.

Good morning, I had some issues last night. upsetting thoughts, itching arm. No muscle spasms that I recall.

I think I slept 4-5 hours.

Woke up at 4 and that was it. Got up at 6:15 to do some yoga.

My heart was racing and/or beating oddly before I got up.

I didn't take my granddaughter to the stables, as it was warm and the melting snow would just create a muddy mess. She was okay with that, as we played with her miniature stables and 60 some plastic horses and worked on the puzzle I have out for my husband.

TS, I hope your day is going okay.  Anxiety can be so stressful to deal with. I hope the nausea goes away and your nose feels less congested. I can imagine it is a little difficult to not be able to blow your nose.

Dozed 8 pm to 11 pm on sofa

Didn’t mean to but I can get relaxed at night.

Well then I woke so I took my pm dose

and tried the herbatonin. I mixed it with

Yogurt. I then slept really good -out

12 midnight to 5 30 am. I recall a wake up

but went back to sleep.

My struggle I have major anxiety.

And I’m start to think I may have to retire.

Idk if herbatonin is safe or any after effects.

Hi nightengale,

Glad your day with your granddaughter went well. A racing heart can be really scary. Hope it's OK now.

I had a bad day so far: nausea comes and goes, but the extreme fatigue is awful.

Forced myself to take a 10 minute walk this afternoon. Not sure is was a wise decision, though.

Life isn't much fun at the moment. Hopefully things will improve.

Hi healthyme,

Congratulations on a good sleep!

I am struggling with anxiety too. Health anxiety that is. Horrible. Scared by every symptom,  old or new.

I hope you're feeling a bit better today. Is your anxiety at its worst in the night and very early hours of the morning too?

I wish you both a quiet and peaceful day.

Hi healthyme,

Sorry you're having IBS issues. Hopefully it's not going to be too much of a bother.

I've had it for over 32 years now. It comes and goes, gets better, gets worse.

It's important to find out which foods trigger it. Skip those for a while to see if it gets any better. A re - introduction will then tell you wether it's OK to take it again or leave it out of your diet for a while ( or forever).

Hope it all settles down a bit soon.

Hi,

Hope you slept well

Mine was some 6 hours. But with a cut in the middle: I woke up to nausea, took a few homeopathic pills and went back to sleep.

Woke up around 5 am. Stomach pain. Had some raw oats,  chewed on it for about ten minutes, went back to bed. No more sleep, got anxious, burning muscles in arms and chest. Had to get out of bed at 7. Too nervous to stay in bed.

Now things are getting a bit better. Hope the exhaustion I felt yesterday stays away.

Wishing you a peaceful Sunday.

Hi all, I slept 2.5 hours last night. The night before I slept a good six hours. I'm happy for what I can get. Last night I had a lot of intrusive thoughts. A one point I wondered if I had died, it was so bizarre.  Needless to say, I was still breathing.

Yesterday I walked for 15 minutes, as it had been more than three weeks of waiting for my knee pain to go away, which it did.

This morning I only did yoga and will see what tonight brings.

TS I hope you had a good day after the difficult beginning.

My son was plagued with IBS and I suggested he try taking a probiotic. I started taking some when I began my taper and so started the IBS. Someone on here suggested probiotics. Costco have some natural gummies that helped me. My son said they have also helped him. You may have already tried this, but if not it might be worth checking some out. There are many kinds on the market besides Costco.

HealthyM, I hope you are feeling less wobbly and the stomach issues have gone away.

Hi,

Yesterday turned out to be the first " better" day of this year.

But today is a real bad one:

Under 4 hours of sleep. Congested nose, mouth and throat dry as a bone. Could hardly breathe. No more sleep. More and more symptoms popping up. Today I feel exhausted, nauseous, faint, weak, scared, desperate. Almost to weak to stand.  Having my blood and pee checked for diabetes.

Yes, I did try probiotics. Didn't do much for me. IBS isn't the main issue now. But there's so many others that worry me. Maybe I 'm feeling so bad because of the antibiotics the ENT Dr. put in my throat last Friday. Today is just about survival.

With affection for this good group (you).
