Hello nightengale,

My night was one of short sleep ( some 4 hours), but not much pain. I did get anxious,  because today I get the result of the CT-scan. Hoping for the best, but really nervous right now.

Glad to hear your crater is healing well.

That's going news. Finally a good day. You deserve it.

Sleep tight.

4 am wakeup, hot sweats, wide awake, screaming ears, energy surge, racing mind, sick fatigue. Never ending torture.

TS, I hope you’re results are good news.

Hi DBM,

Man, so sorry it's still that bad. If you would only have a small improvement,  that would already be a big bonus.

Maybe soon... :sleepy:

PS. Just had the phonecall I was waiting for this morning: the specialist Dr. called to let me know everything was fine. Nothing bad going on with my colon!  Thank the good Lord for that. One less thing to worry about.

TS.

Busy day yesterday and I slept 8 hours

But I took normal dose of cloz yesterday.

In am took meclizine for vertigo

that might be why I conked out.

The previous 2 days were weird

as I took an extra pill for sleep not

On my prescription (seroquel- stupid

I was looking for more sleep)

and another day took more cloz

(Total 1.5 for day). I felt extra

anxious groggy during the day.

Talk to psych dr he says I should

be on ‘something’ for anxiety.

Cos he knows I hate meds and

Stopped Paxil and so far decline

Abilify. Glad some of you are doing ok.

TS I know about health anxiety and

have that . Therapist said for me to

stay off bb. Hmmm.

Felt not stable enough to serious taper

But vow not to go above Rx dose.

To taper feel I need micro scale.

Thank you

Hi healthyme,

Good to see you slept 8 hours. Wow.

But IMO you should try not to take more meds. Try to stay at what you were at, if possible.

Taking more will leave you feeling groggy.

Holding for a while, until you get more stable,  would be a wise thing to do.

I' ve been using a micro scale since last July. No scale,  no matter how expensive,  will be spot on every time. So it takes some calibration every time. At least that's what I do.

Good vow!

Stay strong.

Thanks, DBM!

Takes a big weight off my shoulders.

Now I can use the little energy I have, for other issues. And there's still a lot of them.

But I know we all suffer a great deal. These pills are causing so much misery and agony.

Unbelievable.

Stay strong!

Congratulations Trochsetter on the great news! Whew! Keep moving forward.

I know you have a lot of issues. One day you will walk away from it all. We just have to keep our heads up and moving forward.

My day was worse than my night. I won't bother going into how bad it was.

I just finished eating a handful of peanut M&Ms and I don' t care where this will take me tonight! lol

Sleep last night was maybe 3 hours. I tried not to look at the clock, so God only knows.

Hi,

Slept some 5 hours, but the last hour I was half and half awake already because of the pain in my left leg muscles ( and bone?).  What followed was a couple of hours in pain. Getting really worried about this. It's gotten much worse during the last few weeks.

Anyway,  ready for another f*cking day. Oh, how I hate this mess.

Nightengale,  Thank you for staying optimistic. Despite you having a bad day too.

Hold on.

Slept 3 hours straight plus another 3 hours in 1.5 hr increments. No muscle spasms after eating those M&Ms. Go figure.

Walked 20 minutes this morning, then iced my knee. I really dislike ice, but beings it helped my shoulder last year, I'm willing to give it a try.

Trochsetter, the muscle and bone pain sound terrible. I wish you a less painful day and night tonight or better yet, a no pain day/night.

Hi nightengale,

Three and three makes six in my book. Great.

Well done, walking for 20 minutes with a soar knee!

The afternoon was better,  much less pain, courtesy of Ibuprofen I guess.

My feet were still soar ( that's nerve pain,) so got on my bike for a 17 minute tour. Counts as exercise,  right?

Hope your day is a nice one.

Slept four hours solid. Then woke up to that pain again. Got up twice and did a little walking through the livingroom the second time. Put the hot pips bag on my soar leg. The pain left after a few hours. No anxiety, ander, sadness. Remarkably calm! Now the  pain is gone, but walking and standing are for some reason still painful.

Hope you slept well.

Good morning all,

I slept maybe 4 hours. A restless/anxious night, as we are going to CSU to see how the dog's eyes are doing after a week on the meds. She definitely is seeing better out of her right eye.

Trochsetter, I'm glad the Ibuprofen gave you some relief the night before. Yes, riding the bike does count as exercise! Nice the heat give you some relief. I'm going to try that on my knee when I have some time. I did ice it again this morning after a 20 minute walk. My anxiety was high, so I listened to a relaxation video which helped a little.

Hang in there

6 hours, vivid dreams, exhaustion, out of it feeling. I tried sleep tea two nights in a row. Not sure if it’s throwing me off, so I’m discontinuing for now.

TS, glad you have a good calm feeling. That’s great.

NightenG, sorry for your anxious night. Hope all goes well with your dog.

DBM, sorry about your bad night. Hopefully tonight will be better.

I can't take anything for sleep with good results. Sometimes I feel like it made things worse, but who knows.

The days I fasted, I slept and felt better.

Hi nightengale,

Sorry about  your anxiety in the night. The smallest things get really get to us. Hard to believe we're so sensitive.

Hope all will be OK with your dog, that would be one less thing to worry about.

The Ibuprofen made my pain much less during the afternoon. I don't take it before bedtime. Only one a day if needed, after my lunch, on a full stomach. I have had stomach ulcers in the past, so I have to be extra careful with Ibuprofen.

Did two 12 minute "work outs"  today on my stationary bike, because it rained and I didn't feel like getting all soaked and cold. So I stayed inside. I was really tired after the second one. Overdid it again!

Hi DBM,  so sorry you still struggle with your sleep. I don't know what 's worse, the nightmares or the exhaustion after waking up. I get why you would try anything to get a good night's sleep again. Hopefully tonight will bring you a decent sleep.

Wishing you both a doable day.

Hi all,

Hope you slept well.

I hardly slept last night. Maybe two hours in total.  It's just been getting worse and worse this week. Because of taking Ibuprofen?  No idea.

Got up exhausted. Feels like I' ve been hit by a truck. Awful. Worst night in ages.

Last night was unexpectedly rough night.

Awoke and got so wired and awake I

had to take extra dose. I know others

go thru lack of sleep constantly.

I worked all week and did extra class

and therapy. I have slight sore throat

so that may mean I’ll have a cold

next 3 days. Not sure how I’ll feel today.

Just trying to keep my doses fairly

consistent and not up dose.

But last night sleep became too choppy.

Hope you all get better healing and

that my post doesn’t just discourage others.

Peace. HM.

Good morning/afternoon,

I slept perhaps 4 hours. I did walk for 15 mins this morning, then iced my knee.  My leg also feels so stiff all of the time.

My usual go right to sleep, wake up after 1.5 hours, go back to sleep, wake up again after two hours. Then mostly awake the rest of the night with a short bit of dozing.

Trochsetter, I am sorry you suffered through a bad night. Hard to say about the ibuprofen. I have not been able to take anything with aspirin in it for most of my adult life because it upsets my stomach the 1st time I take it, bringing on stomach flu symptoms.  Maybe you were in a bad wave. With benzo symptoms it's more like the roll of the dice.

Hopefully your day is going better.

I have good news about the dog, at least on one eye. Her corneal ulcers both completely healed, so she is cone head free! Her left eye seems to be showing some signs of vision. She has a neurology appointment next Tuesday to rule out any tumors. I may decide to hold off on an MRI, if she keeps showing signs of seeing out of that eye.  I know she is a dog, but that's how I am when they are sick/injured, etc.

The university does such an amazing job of treating animals...even honey bees..I kid you not! They are also not quite as expensive as regular vets plus we get a 30% discount because my son works for the State of Colorado at the Colorado School of Mines.

Anyway, enough on the dog.

Heathyme, I am sorry you had a rough night. Oh how we suffer through them.  I wish you a better night tonight and that sore throat is not from being sick with a cold.

I find your posts helpful and worth the read so keep on posting no matter what.

Hi nightengale,

Sorry your sleep is still that bad.

Glad to hear the good news  about your dog. A dog is part of the family as well. It needs all the loving care the owner can give it.

Could indeed be a wave. Praying for better times. This is awful. So much pain, so tired and now sleep down the drain. Hate it!

Hope your day is OK.

Hi trochsetter, my day went fine. Ran some errands then took a nap this afternoon, so it has been a stressless day.

The dog is part of the family. I'm just happy she has returned to her healthy happy self.  I'm trying to do that for myself!

I pray you have better times, also. You so deserve that.  Pain can be so debilitating which ads more stress to our already stressful lives.

I wish you a peaceful sleep

Hi nightengale,

So happy for you. A stressless day at last!  Wow. Hope it's the first of many, many more.

I slept some 6 hours. So, great in comparison to the nights before. But got up in pain, really tired, anxious again, nauseous too. Must be a bad wave. My leg muscles are getting tighter and at the same time more powerless by the day. This has me worried so much.

Hope you slept just fine.

6 plus hours last night. My brain started racing after the 3 am wake up, but eventually calmed down so I could get a bit more sleep.

Trochsetter, hopefully the wave calms down soon.  You deserve to have a window open for you. When you mentioned tight leg muscles, it seems I have that also. I am baffled as to what is really going on with my legs. Walking doesn't help.

I hope the nausea goes away.

Hang in there

Hi nightengale,

Happy to see you slept OK.

Like you I have no idea what is wrong with my leg muscles. That's why I had those mri-scans done last year. But nothing. No hernias or other issues. Had an EMG done in February of last year: nothing. But my muscles just keep getting tighter and more painful. Walking has become a lot more difficult this last year. Tomorrow I will hear the result of the Lyme's testing.

Today was much better than yesterday!  The anxiety, nausea and fatigue were gone after I had breakfast. I took a small piece of tonight 's amount of Diazepam around 11 am. after I felt a worsening coming. Did the trick. Maybe this is something to repeat. How knows this could be a good remedy. Only time will tell.

I hope you have a pleasant Sunday.  Take care.

Hope you all are better and not suffering.

Last night was ok sleep. I quit melatonin

for now. Think it caused headache.

Trying to keep my dose stable to prep

for taper. Also practice calm and coping skills

to prep. Last night I fell asleep super early

for 3 hrs then maybe 2 or 3 hrs more not

quite sure. It’s unpredictable. But still

take highest dose at night. Dry taper 10%

Q 2 wk is option for me.

You people are very admirable and strong.

I wish you all the best and lots of windows

and comfy sleep. Peace. HM
