Does anyone know if it's airing abroad?  I'm PMing w/someone here who's not in U.S.  Why I think BB's is most important community to have that info. included under avatar.  I'd found out how to do so from PMing someone in Switzerland, or Sweden, who I'd seen it under their name.  (None of the Administrators I'd contacted had any idea how to do so.)  I've seen members discussing where they're from within their posts/unwieldy.  If you're interested, you just put it your profile, in place of quote, as I did.  Very simple &, IMO, that's much more important/relevant information, since different medications & treatment techniques are utilized in different countries. 

 

Please do let me know, either here, or via PM, if program is airing abroad w/pertinent information.

Thanks for the heads up Floridaguy.  I have the Pluto app downloaded but it's been a while since I opened that. I wouldn't know how to bootleg something if I wanted.  That comes free on the Roku box where  I  pay for a few apps.  I can't even pay for YouTube in my area but can get that on my computer. 

 

There are other channels that have broadcast mini documents regarding benzos but not for a long time.  Fox news did some pieces and I found

those articles on the inet and YouTube.  If I get my timetable and story finished, it'll be easy to send it off to more than one TV journalist.  Here's

The first episode, the one on porn, is already on youtube. It's for sale for three dollars on iTunes, for two on google play, and Vudo. So there are a lot of options if you don't have cable or live elsewhere.

I really hope that this doco also mentions that thousands of people are prescribed for conditions other than anxiety eg muscle spasm, tinnitus etc, i think focussing on the anxiety prescription aspect gives free rein to "victim shaming"and for people to think that it won't happen to them because they don't have anxiety. I don't hold out much hope that this show will change attitudes or prescribing practices.

I think one mentions excessive sweating as a reason (benzo memory).

For those of us who are injured and I would emphasize, those who care about a person who is, this is one of those times (like when your friend's band puts out a cd) where you watch in on CNN (i.e. go to their live show), buy a digital copy (i.e. purchase their dumb album), and get all your other friends to do the same. Let's make this show a ratings success; call all of your friends, family. (I know people have been doing this, and I know for some people it's just a non-starter. We're all doing what we can through all of this.)  Post it to places in the hour/s leading up to the show. Spend the two dollars and buy it the next day or whenever it is available. I think you can "gift purchase" shows on some of the sites for people. Do it, buy it and send it to a friend, or whomever. I'm not suggesting people break the bank, lots of us are unemployed. I just want this in our minds. Maybe this will be a blip, but maybe it will help some people.

 

This is like the 9th inning, or the last two minutes of the 4th quarter, or that last study session before the final. It's what makes all the work that came before it count (at least in the eyes of those who decide what gets coverage.)
