Insomnia starts week 6 off benzo?

I was on clonazepam for for 8 months.

I’m off it now 6 weeks.

 

However the whole 6 weeks I never had any issues sleeping.

The withdrawal wasn’t that bad, mainly psychical and was gone after week 2 and then feeling totally normal.

 

But now week 6 I’ve sussenlt been stuck with insomnia the past 3 nights.

Could this be due to the benzo being gone but how can that be when I was fine for 6 weeks?

Supposedly benzo withdrawal peaks at 6 weeks after stopping.

I didn't know benzo withdrawal  peaked at six weeks. I hope that is what I have been feeling since I am a little over two months of jumping. The questions is how long does it last? I guess is different for everyone, and withdrawal is not linear correct?
