You mean you haven't read the whole thread!!! Shame on you!!! All you had to do was to look under the liquorice allsorts bed a few pages back.

 

Mind you, Graylake's liquorice allsorts teapot has yet to materialise  >:(  so maybe my instructions aren't much good.

Revised Instructions

 

google "cheesecake images", for example, and the images that come up are usually .jpg files (files end in .jpg).

 

Click on image.

 

At the bottom of the page it says "view image"

 

Click on that, and you get a new page with just the image in top left hand corner

 

Copy weblink.

 

Back on BB page,  click on the icon below the Bold icon above and you get a little code which refuses to appear here on my post  :idiot:  [/img]

 

paste weblink to image in middle of invisible code (I am not joking, honestly)

 

AND hey presto you are ready to post

 

If this does not work here are someone else's instructions with said codes visible

Ok, I'm going to try this in a minute. I found some great buffet dishes I want to show you. By the way, congrats to your homeland on the amazing voter turnout for your referendum. Good Morning, All

 

I see it's very active here!  :D

 

With the posting of pictures, here is what seems to work every time:

 

find the desired image,

RIGHT click on image (different options will show up when you right click - you want "COPY IMAGE URL")

hey, almost there

 

See the B, I, U  (for bold, italics, underline)

Go to the line below that

Go to the link directly under the B

Click on the link directly under the B

 

Now you will have little brackets to "hold" your image

make sure your cursor is in between the two brackets

then PASTE between the brackets onto the page

 

The URL you copied from the image will be pasted onto the page

NOW, to test this...

 

Click "preview" at the bottom of this page -- it will allow you to see what your beautiful image looks like

 

 

I'll be back with some goodies!

 

You're quite busy here, LF, but I see you have lots of helpers.  smile!

Hi,

 

Here are the instructions from LilyAgain from page one of this thread.  They worked for me.  I've always had problems with posting images up till I read this...:crazy:

 

 

 

".....you just have to right click on the photo itself and in the box that opens, click on "properties" at the bottom.  Then in the next box that opens, highlight the "URL address" and copy it.  That address is what you put here on BB in the "Insert Image" brackets.  I hope this helps you."

 

(The "insert image" brackets are the tiny picture frame beneath the bold "B," above the "reply" box, far left.)

Ins.....I'm a failure. I pasted the URL and the preview showed the URL address. No picture.

It's a small glitch.

 

Go ahead and post what you have so we can see the URL.  My guess is that the URL was not [inside the brackets]

 

post it, so we can have a look.

 

You're almost there.
