It was weird.  I got terribly ill for about 6 weeks, worse than I had been in well over a year.  Then, the symptoms got very gradually better over the next month or so, but I still felt worse than I had before the setback.  Then, about two weeks ago, I very suddenly got much better.  Like I said, I am not going to consider myself "healed" for a very long time because I know how insidious this stuff is.  But today is another great day so far and I am going to enjoy it as long as it lasts.  At least I can take some comfort in know that my brain is capable of functionig normally again, even if the symptoms do come back.
