"Believe me, my journey has not been a simple journey of progress. There have been many ups and downs, and it is the choices that I made at each of those times that have helped shape what I have achieved."

"Permanence, perseverance and persistence in spite of all obstacles, discouragements, and impossibilities: It is this, that in all things distinguishes the strong soul from the weak."

"Sometimes we make the process more complicated than we need to. We will never make a journey of a thousand miles by fretting about how long it will take or how hard it will be. We make the journey by taking each day step by step and then repeating it again and again until we reach our destination."

Joseph B. Wirthlin

"Even though you may want to move forward in your life, you may have one foot on the brakes. In order to be free, we must learn how to let go. Release the hurt. Release the fear. Refuse to entertain your old pain. The energy it takes to hang onto the past is holding you back from a new life. What is it you would let go of today?"

The doctor of the future will give no medicine but will interest his patients in the care of the human frame, in diet and in the cause and prevention of disease".

--Thomas Edison

*I agree but sadly, you must self-educate and do this yourself. The for-profit medical-industrial complex makes it nearly impossible for really good doctors to do the right thing by their patients and still make a good living. Nothing wrong with taking a drug if you truly need it, but many drugs used to treat common chronic medical conditions could be eliminated by adopting healthy lifestyle changes.
