Gaviscon coincidence

Bad reflux last night. I took Gaviscon before bed. I’ve been experiencing insomnia & body temperature fluctuations however last night didn’t have either. Sleep wasn’t good quality and feel on edge this morning. Gaviscon contains magnesium. Is it a coincidence that the Gaviscon acted on symptoms?
