taper Trazodone

Hi everyone! I have been on Trazodone for 3 months now (2 months 50-75mg, 1 month on 100 mg). I'm still not sleeping too well due to my Benzo withdrawal but my psychiatrist wants to up my dose to 200 mg... I really don't feel comfortable doing this since I was actually planning to do a taper.

 

Does anyone out here have experience with tapering trazodone? Do you think a month long taper is too fast? Thank you!

I tapered off over a couple weeks and had no issues at all. I was on it for a couple months. between 100-200mg a night.....didn't really help me sleep and made me terrible congested.
