Help with healthy high calorie nutrition

Recommended Posts

I am looking for ideas to increase caloric intake while eating healthy.  I add fruit, protein powder, yogurt, coconut oil, chia, almond milk to smoothies.  I constantly eat almonds mixed with 60%cocoa chocolate chips.  Spoonfuls of peanut butter. Eat lotsa eggs.  Have always eaten what I want and learning curve is huge.  My system is sensitive.  Avoiding processed foods is no easy feat.  Any ideas?  Am burnout on same limited foods.  Thanks

I have trouble staying under my calorie allotment and all I eat is healthy.  Do you track your calories and do you eat meat?  You can do fatty fish like salmon or trout, turkey burgers, chicken, sprouted bread, pistachios, pumpkin seeds, pecans, olive oil, kefir, muesli, sweet potato fries, some beef.  I would also check out what keto diets suggest for more non-carb but fattening suggestions.

Thanks seltz...I eat meat everyday.  Favorite is fish but have a freezer full of elk so eat often. I gained about 8lbs post acute but need another 10 or so to get to natural weight.  Appetite is ok.  I can't eat large meals so I graze all day.  I know junk food would get me there but it makes me feel awful.  I'll add some more nuts, avocados and ice cream I guess.  Can't handle too much sugar.

Being underweight is no fun. I know there are a few of you out there.

Wish I had a freezer filled with elk meat. I wouldn't eat ice cream to gain weight. What is your height and weight?

I’m also underweight and it is no fun.

I eat well, but haven’t gained and ounce. I’m very tired all the time and my blood pressure is low.

I suffered from tachycardia for the past year, but now it has stopped.

I should probably eat more, but sometimes I’m too tired to cook. I jumped 49 days ago.

Any suggestions L

Thanks.
