Eye ball pain

Is eye ball pain, dryness a WD symptom or am I overthinking allergies ?

Hi MountainVA,

 

My left eye has given me fits today (up 3 x last night for drops). This started before the taper but has been worse during the taper. I have pushed off seeing a specialist again (first time diagnosis - tilted tear duct with severe dry eye) but plan to check about that next week (after more pain since Oct). Pollen on weather media is at extreme, and I have been mowing the yard for three weeks now. I think I may be more frustrated about the eye due to the taper and not feeling well. It may not help, but I can let you know if the diagnosis is different this time.

 

Well, I hope your eye gets to feeling better. It's a super annoying irritation.

Yes, a range of these common eye problems appeared with my WDs and increased in relation to my cuts.. sometimes Dry, other times itchy as hell, watery, and/or irritated like allergies.. My actual vision/focus can get bad at times too.. I have good eye history, and when im not in WD it has all all improved.. kinda feels like my eyes are vaccumes for irritants..!!

Its all pretty common from what I read... There are old threads that go into the details and apparent reasons more, -I think in the WD support board..??

Thank you both! Yes- allergies are crazy at this time in my area, but I don't have any other allergie symptoms.

Dry painful eyeballs, sometimes just one, sometimes both. Also very bloodshot at times.

I also have good eye health aside from needing vision correction
