Working on conquering freeway anxiety

Hello all. Hope your day is going well. I went to the casino the other day to celebrate my birthday and had to spend at least a half hour on the freeway just to get there. I've had driving anxiety on the freeway for a few years but get on it anyway to push myself. I actually made it all the way to the casino without getting overly anxious this time. Yay!! Any time I felt anxiety start to rise I would talk myself out of it and it REALLY made a difference listening to classical and Christian music during the drive. Anything else would have driven me bonkers. I still have a long way to go to overcome this but for any of you who may also have this there is hope. We just need to put forth the effort since it won't just go away on its own. Take care and have a blessed day.
