Is your hair still short and orange like Milla Jovovich in the Fifth Element?

 

haha no...it was a crush thing Hubbs had on that character when that movie came out. but i could only rock the bozo look for so long,  then i was like NOPE.  shaving it off. that was early this year...now it's my natural color growin out, just plain jane mousy brown, but it'll be a lot esier to go gray gracefully, now,  than when i was box bleaching and dying the crap out of it. easier to blend gray with mousy brown than with bright frikkin red. but i still love the character Myrtle Snow from Coven so i keep that avatar.

 

I tried the “grow graceful grey” locks.  Ended up with steel wool pubes on my head.  Now I scrub dishes with my head pubes.

I spent over 2 years growing out my dyed hair. The roots looked really white and I had hoped I would end up with this silver cloud of mostly curly hair.

NOT.

It about 75% silver and the rest is sort of brown (I used to have BLACK hair! and very curly) The overall effect is I look like a dumb blonde. Phooey on that. I considered having highlight put in but decided to hell with all this fussing. Damnit, I am nearly 70 years old! I just have to live with what I look like now and to hell with the past.

I WISH I did have dish scrubber silver curls!

Tomorrow is Halloween, our favorite holiday.  We are made up like witches all year long.  I will braid your two-tone tresses if you add soap to my Brillo pad head.  We can fly on our broomsticks through the night and use them on one of your cleaning jobs the next day.  You will jump on my hump back and I’ll decorate yours with spiders.  And we’ll dye Bear black.  We’ve got all we need for a grand solstice celebration.
