Maybe I'll try to taper the Soma first and leave the Valium alone for now.  Its worth a try I guess.  HOpe you can get some relief, have you tried Advil or something, that helps sometimes.

Just to confirm what's going on for me—that it's withdrawal and not UTI or yeast infection, went to GYN for exam. No irritation seen although I am really sensitive down there and stinging pain comes and goes. Was given an aesthetic gel. Haven't used it yet. Hopefully won't have to resort to it.

I know Nova has, but are there more women with the stuff are falling out of me feeling? I really keep on feeling my bowel prolapsed

Bennie, Could I ask what was the gel you were prescribed?  I want to ask my  GYN for some and see if it will help with the burning.  I also have the pressure, falling out feeling.  Everything looked good but I think they just treated me to shut me up and hope it worked.  None of my Dr. will even acknowledge that it could be anything to do with any of the meds I"m on.  Hopeless.

Freeme,

Lidocaine hydrochloride 4%.

Same stuff that would be applied to back of throat, in mouth. But this is not over the counter or flavored, or anything but straight Lido. Will numb you for 4-ish hours, I'm told.

I'll be interested to know what your docs say about this.

Bennie

I need to come back and read posts prior to this. Have you had this in past? I have off and on and more on recently but I wonder if it is my age and since I had a hyst? I was also dx with IC soon after getting on klonopin, did I read on here that maybe benzos brought that on?

I follow pretty strict diet to be easy on GI, helps a ton. My bladder is a lost cause though. I peed a ton when young also.

I saw a uro recently who is having me do a ct scan this week and an in office cystoscope again. I will keep you posted on what he finds!

Guess I will have to go to Urologist and take it from there.  Unrelenting V pain today, I just can't live like this.  I don't know how you all who have gone through it survived.  The pain and pressure and weird feelings down there are horribly painful and I'm losing it.  I have to have some relief or I will lose what is left of my mind.  Hope you all have been doing better than I have.

How is everyone doing? I actually look forward to my period now because the horrible unrelenting cramps mask the bladder and VJ pain. Sad but true.  :(

I hope I can taper off by menopause  :P

Still have the mouth and VJ burning, pressure etc.  Some days are better but its always there.  My urine stream is slow now but sometimes it seems almost normal.  I'll bet it is bladder, urether spasms.  I haven't gone to Dr. yet, know I have to go but just dreading it.  Still holding but will eventually begin to cut again.  Hope everyone is hanging in there. This type pain is pure torment, hope it lifts soon for us all.

So I went to the doctor and my pelvis is crooked. They tried to put it more in place but did not work. Now I'm waiting until end of november for another osteopath appointment.

I hate this.

Wow! Did they try to fix it with a chiropractic adjustment?

That doesn't work because all my muscles get tense and just make it crooked again  :'( I feel desperate. How is this even possible.

So sorry you are still in pain.  I am also and see no end to it.  I have yet to go to urologist because I feel they won't relate it to the drugs and think I"m nuts.  I really should go but I just hate to go to yet another Dr. feeling hopeless also.  Some days aren't as bad but todday was very bad, with burning and pressure.  Hope they can find an answer for us but I am losing any hope and I'm not even off the meds yet.

Can you still get vagina burning even when you're just withdrawing from it and not tapering with it? I've been slowly been withdrawing from it and this recently just started happening and it freaks me out. It happens on and off though.

You can get this symptom during, before, and after tapering. I had it during taper. It too, freaked me out. It went away. So many, many symptoms have gone away. Stay hopeful.

I'm still holding, haven't tried tapering yet but the burning pressure has gotten a little better in that it isn't constant so I hope it will eventually go away for good.  I still have weak urine stream at times but sometimes it seems normal.  I am constipated though so think those muscles are also affected by all this.  One thing that hasn't let up at all is the burning tongue, which is torture.  I hold out hope that this will go away in time.  Drs. still wont relate it to the drugs so I just stopped trying to explain it.  I will taper again after my surgery, which I think will be soon as I have just had a bad flare up of back, leg and buttock left side pain.  I can barely walk, stand etc. so if it doesn't get better will have to have the surgery even though I feel sick.  These drugs are just poison.  Hope your burning etc. gets better, they say it does so I will hang onto this hope.

For me, the only reason I had burning buttocks, vagina, groin, pain in my urethra—was due to Klonopin. ALL of it was withdrawal sxs. These drugs ARE poison. Sad. Better days ahead without the posion!

I got treated for a UTI and I'm still urinating a lot. I'll say this I never got any UTI's before I started Klonopin, it's so frustrating. And I never got any yeast infections either. Today I went to the doctor today cause I still thought I had a UTI and everything came back negative but I'm still urinating a lot and I stopped taking the medication back in October. This makes no sense to me at all. It depresses me and makes me not want to leave the house or go anywhere cause I'm always constantly urinating a lot. I want to tell my Gynecologist about it but I'm afraid she's going to diagnose me with having Interstitial Cystitis or something. Told my doctor about it cause it had me worried but he didn't look too worried about but it bothers me still. Is there anything I can take? Sorry to post again but this really has me worried. And when I urinate, it never burns ever.

BlueSkies218,

You may have to "wait it out" if no UTI or other bladder situation.  Klonopin is a muscle relaxer and muscles are every where in the body.  I did go through a period where I urinated constantly.  Just stayed close to home.  I know it is bothersome.  This whole process is.  In order to get back to life we have to let our body work out it's way back to "normalcy".  I can't give you a timeframe, everybody is different.

Sweet pea

By the way I know "everybody is different" seems like a crappy answer but it really is true, can't do anything about it.

So had another test. Now it is confirmed that it's my pelvic floor that is disfunctional. It is probably affected because of withdrawal the same way other muscles are affected. And this does cause the type of pain you feel when you have prolapse, and burning pain type stuff.

Wanted you to know. (i had an internal exam with a tube type thing)

Were there any suggestions for treatment?  I still have the pressure, burning etc in V area but it has gotten a little better.  I did see a post about some Pelvic Floor therapy but it is rare to find a therapist who works with this.  Did they give you any hope to help this?

Yes they told me to find a PT but also I need to breathe the correct way (this apparently has a lot to do with your pelvic floor because it is connected with your diafragma or something?)

So I will see a breathing specialist next week. Correct alignment (look up Katy Bowman) and yes PT, this I yet need to search here in the area.
