Re: suicidal feelings. I really feel that these drugs affect us so badly in this respect that it is so hard to see any end to it.

 

The suicidal impulses I have had whilst withdrawing have been really frightening. I think holding on to the the thought that this IS chemically induced and not a part of who you are...all the thoughts...the negative and doom feelings are really common on here and i can definitely say for me it was 100 percent caused by withdrawal. This stuff is an actually nightmare to deal with and it was only by being patient with myself and giving up trying to feel better that I could manage it a bit more.

 

I really hope you have a break from it soon. It is truly traumatic to be seriously considering ending your own life. Such a lonely and isolating place to be in for an extended period of time.
