FOR INSM, LILY, SNOWY, TEX, MR. A, PD, CD, ABC TO THE D, LAPIS, MOO, AND ALL WHO PASS THIS WAY...

Along The Way

Friends you meet along the way;

Are some you want to always stay.

There are a few, they know just when;

What to say, time and again.

You see in some a special light;

Some that burn so very bright.

You have a style, one that I love;

A gift you are, from up above.

The thought that you get torn apart;

A thing that just breaks up my heart.

You should know and feel deep inside;

Whatever happens, I'm at your side.

Please do know and be aware;

You are special, and I care.

Friends like you, on this day;

Make me feel a special way.

Deep within you may find;

Thoughts unsaid in your mind.

Hold on tight, and don't let go;

Keep the faith, let it grow.

Of all the people throughout my day;

I wish the best for you I say.

You my friend, I want to know;

I feel we met long ago

Thank you, so much for your friendship and caring.

You're doing really well with your taper, by the way.

Really proud of you.

"I think I'll be the lioness..."

::)  :laugh::thumbsup:

Look what Dr. Ashton says (I wonder is she related to Heather :laugh:)

According to this study, women are the stronger sex because of their double-X chromosomes. Dr. Jennifer Ashton, a medical correspondent for CBS's The Early Show, says it's often heard that "women are stronger when it comes to being more stoic when they're sick," but now there's actual scientific proof.

"Women have two X chromosomes. Men have only one X chromosome, and then they have a Y chromosome. The X chromosome is actually a larger chromosome. You can contain more genes on that chromosome and part of those genes activity actually, theoretically, work to bolster immune function," said Ashton.

Because even the smallest of words

can be the ones to hurt you, or save you.

- Natsuki Takaya

This is so true...so true.

I've been in both sides of the fence. And I regret every single small word that hurt someone else.

It's said very quickly but you can't ever take it back.

A small word can make or break your day, your week. It's an important reminder, Insom.

Hi Moo,

Isn't it true.

I have tremendous regret over my words that have hurt others.

Sending you a hug and hoping you have a comfortable evening.

Lots one thing I've learned from this whole journey. Something that was said quickly can haunt you for ever. Both in feelings of regretting of having said it and things said to you.

I'm thinking on this a lot and it is cringeworthy.

I wish I could take it back. I can't.

What's said is said forever and can steer the whole future!

Leaning to think before we say something...it's not come easy. But getting there..

http://j.mp/1ExfaEt

I guess we should not anxiously hope for what has not come and not vainly regret what's in the past...

Friends Without Faces

by Thomas Teague

We sit and we type, and we stare at our screens,

We all have to wonder, what this possibly means.

With our mouse we roam, through the rooms in a maze,

Looking for something or someone, as we sit in a daze.

We chat with each other, we type all our woes,

Small groups we do form, and gang up on our foes.

We wait for somebody, to type out our name,

We want recognition, but it is always the same.

We give kisses and hugs, and sometimes flirt,

In IMs we chat deeply, and reveal why we hurt.

We do form friendships - but - why we don't know,

But some of these friendships, will flourish and grow.

Why is it on screen, we can be so bold,

Telling our secrets, that have never been told.

Why is it we share, the thoughts in our mind,

With those we can't see, as though we were blind.

The answer is simple, it is as clear as a bell.

We all have our problems, and need someone to tell.

We can't tell "real" people, but tell someone we must,

So we turn to the 'puter, and to those we can trust.

Even though it is crazy, the truth still remains,

They are Friends Without Faces, and odd little names.

Love You My Friend,

Nancy  :smitten:
