My plan for the day is to get some errands run and possibly get to the park

for a walk.  It has cooled off a little after last evening's rain. 

It's actually a good day for resting, but I'm not

always successful when it comes to that.

He's a Shetland Sheepdog.   

He's 3 years old; I've had him since he was 7 weeks and cannot imagine life without him.

He's by far the most intelligent and loving dog I've ever had.

Are there any Sister Wendy fans here? If you have not seen Sister Wendy Becket, you can find her various art commentary clips on YouTube. I saw her one day on PBS (in the middle of a wave), and found her voice so soothing that I purchased her DVD set.

Hello again insy, Tilly is fine thank you. I am at one corner and she is as far away as she can get without leaving the bed. Yes, definitely cat behaviour. But when I snuggle down later she will come and settle down for a tummy tickle. Charlie is absolutely gorgeous! What a stunning dog. I would send you a pic of the Tillster, but you know how technically adept I am!

Still can't wait for book to come. More than a month. Ludicrous. They will not get many stars for delivery! Hugs to you and Charming Charlie! xxx

Hi who-am-i,  Really glad you liked the Wilde quotation. Was a bit more lighthearted than most of the quotations so wasn't sure about using it. Wilde was a complete one-off and most probably suffered depression too. A sensitive soul residing in Reading Gaol for something that is most correctly not a crime any more. He would be overjoyed at the huge strides made in Gay Rights.

 

I know who Sister Wendy is. And I am interested in art. What a good idea to look her up on YouTube. She has a real way of getting inside the paintings. I will most definitely look that up. It is midnight here, but will probably still do that tonight. Gosh what a rebel I am...not!  Thanks very much. Gilly xxx
