Storms and blizzards overcame the earth,

My white birds flew to the sun.

On the lost tracks

Hurry to a distant land,

In the brink far, in path not an easy

To bright, Sunny years.

Find my joy,

What kind of grief was lost,

Bring the song to me

About born in the spring.

Find the ray that closed the clouds,

And a spring of living water will water the gardens.

Seek in silence

Voice gentle, a favorite,

Hand warmth, giving strength

Return her gaze to me.

Bring me fun

Mountain rivers and spring rivers,

The fervor of human hearts, warmed

Free spirit of wandering the warm wind.

Ask the sky not to darken with anger,

Source teksty-pesenok.ru

Ask the fields of peaceful expanse,

Ask the woods

Clear ringing voices,

To say how difficult

The way of the soul rushing to people.

Find the Islands,

Where is the green grass -

Live in it with peace and love

Forgotten words.

Andrea Bocelli and his son, Matteo, perform "Fall On Me". Beautiful song. Beautiful video. Fifty-eight million or so people seem to think this one is pretty darn nice.

And here's the Spanish version. Just as beautiful.

This father-son duet between Andrea and Matteo Bocelli is called "Perfect Symphony", and it's a cover of an Ed Sheeran song. They performed it in a BBC Radio studio. Yet more beautiful music from an extraordinarily talented pair.

The Impossible Dream

Andy Williams

To dream the impossible dream

To fight the unbeatable foe

To bear with unbearable sorrow

To run where the brave dare not go

To right the unrightable wrong

To love pure and chaste from afar

To try when your arms are too weary

To reach the unreachable star

This is my quest, to follow that star

No matter how hopeless, no matter how far

To fight for the right

Without question or pause

To be willing to march

Into hell for a heavenly cause

And I know if I'll only be true

To this glorious quest

That my heart will lay peaceful and calm

When I'm laid to my rest

And the world will be better for this

That one man scorned and covered with scars

Still strove with his last ounce of courage

To fight the unbeatable foe

To reach the unreachable star

"Mouse In A Maze"

Saga

[CHORUS:]

He's a mouse in a maze

With its so many ways

But there's only one way to get out

(x2)

Ever nearing eyes

Watch him as he tries

To correct that one same mistake

It shouldn't take long

Oh, where did he go wrong

He's tried so hard it must be his fate

For everybody else

It's quick they need no help

Why must it take him so long

He's been this way before

Stares at the final door

The one he's missed each time he's been round

With plenty of advice

From all the other mice

Sets out and hopes he's got it straight

His audience will grow

As long as he is slow

They love to watch another man's mistakes

As more of them arrive

His path is more disguised

Confusion seems to cloud his every thought

But it's been this way before

Stares at the final door

The one he's missed each time he's been round

[CHORUS]

(x4)

Ever nearing eyes

Watch him as he tries

To correct that one same mistake

It shouldn't take long

Oh, where did he go wrong

He's tried so hard it must be his fate

For everybody else

It's quick they need no help

Why must it take him so long

But he's been this way before

Stares at the final door

The one he's missed each time he's been round

He's a mouse in a maze

With its so many ways

But there's only one way to get out

"Sound and Color"

Alabama Shakes

A new world hangs

Outside the window

Beautiful and strange

It must be I've fallen awake

I must be

[CHORUS:]

Sound and color

With me for my mind

And the ship shows me where to go

When I needn't speak

Not far now

Not far now

Not far now

Far, far now

Far, far, far, far now

Far, far, far, far out

Sound and color

With me in my mind

Sound and color

Try to keep yourself awake

Sound and color

This life ain’t like it was

Sound and color

I wanna touch a human being

Sound and color

I want to go back to sleep

Sound and color

Ain’t life just awful strange

Sound and color

I wish I never gave it all away

Sound and color

No more to see the setting of the sun

Sound and color

Life in sound and color

Life in sound and color

Life in sound and color

Sound and color

Sound and color

"Stuck In Gravity"

Of Monsters And Men

I'm stuck in gravity

I'm far from where I wanna be

I'm like a raindrop in the ocean

I get lost in my delusion of reality

I don't know up from down

Or when my feet are on the ground

I've been around for thirty years

It's kind of hard

To think about your own mortality

And this high, high love

That you give to me

Is all I'm missing

It's all I'm missing

And this high, high love

That you give to me

Is dripping down my hands like honey

It's all I'm missing

I'm stuck in gravity

I'm clawing for some bravery

I try to be still in a moment

And I'm hoping for a never ending odyssey

I don't know high from low

Or when I should be letting go

It's like I'm anchored to the floor

And I need more

I need stars to light the colony

And this high, high love

That you give to me

Is all I'm missing

It's all I'm missing

And this high, high love

That you give to me

Is dripping down my hands like honey

It's all I'm missing

So give me something good

Just give me something good

I'm staring out the window

Looking at the rain fall

Hoping for a starlight

Head is still an animal

[x4]

Head is still an animal

"Little Bird"

Star Cast

Little bird

Don't be scared

To spread your wings and fly

Little bird

You'll never fly again

If you don't try

Just don't be afraid

Of what the world

Has done to you

Just know

You're strong enough

To make it through

Little bird

Letting go of pain

Is just a start

Little bird

Let it go

And you can go so far

There will be times

When you feel alone

Oh, but I'll be right here

Right here with you

All along

All along

Little bird

Everything will be just fine

Little bird

I believe you can touch the sky

Music Medicine: Sound At A Cellular Level

Dr. Lee Bartel - TEDxCollingwood

How does music as sound and vibration impact your body and brain? Dr. Lee Bartel explores how sound can stimulate cells in your body and brain to reduce the impact of Fibromyalgia pain, Alzheimer’s Disease, Parkinson’s Disease, Depression, and even increase blood flow. It shows how a common consumer  vibroacoustic device is used to treat these health conditions.  Lee Bartel is Professor Emeritus of Music and Health and Music Education and at the University of Toronto and Member of the Board and Chair of the Research and Education Committee for the Artists’ Health Alliance. He served as Faculty of Music Associate Dean of Research, and was the Founding Director of the Music and Health Research Collaboratory (MaHRC) at University of Toronto from 2011 - 2015.

He is a Member of the Collaborative Program in Neuroscience, Cross-appointed to Institute for Life Course and Aging, as well as the Graduate Department of Rehabilitation Science. He taught graduate courses on Music and Brain as well as Social Psychology of Music. With extensive early experience as a music teacher at all levels and as a performing choral conductor, singer, violinist, and guitarist, he has special interest in conditions of learning, pedagogic culture, social psychology, and music in human development.

"Beautiful Noise"

Neil Diamond

What a beautiful noise

Coming up from the street

It's got a beautiful sound

It's got a beautiful beat

It's a beautiful noise

Going on everywhere

Like the clickety-clack

Of a train on a track

It's got rhythm to spare

It's a beautiful noise

And it's a sound that I love

And it fits me as well

As a hand in a glove

Yes it does, yes it does

What a beautiful noise

Coming up from the park

It's the song of the kids

And it plays until dark

It's the song of the cars

On their furious flights

But there's even romance

In the way that they dance

To the beat of the lights

It's a beautiful noise

And it's a sound that I love

And it makes me feel good

Like a hand in a glove

Yes it does, yes it does

What a beautiful noise

It's a beautiful noise

Made of joy and of strife

Like a symphony played

By the passing parade

It's the music of life

It's a beautiful noise

And it's a sound that I love

And it makes me feel good

Just like a hand in a glove

Yes it does, yes it does

What a beautiful noise

Coming into my room

And it's begging for me

Just to give it a tune

Oh not the threatening sky frowns,

Blades do not sparkle in the steppe, —

These are the fathers of Ilya Muromets

Pupils came out to fight!

Win them pray to the winds,

Thorns and crowns await them.

Razgulyalas good fellows,

Have raspatories well done!..

Oh, Yes it is necessary to live beautifully,

Oh, Yes we need to live separately!

Our heroic strength —

Strength of mind and willpower.

Our heroic rule —

Need to friend in trouble help,

To defend in the struggle is a right thing,

Force the heart to overcome.

Oh, Yes it is necessary to live beautifully,

Oh, Yes we need to live separately!

Our heroic strength —

Strength of mind and willpower.

Oh, Yes it is necessary to live beautifully,

Oh, Yes we need to live separately!

Our heroic strength —

Strength of mind and willpower.

It's been snowing all day,

He falls quietly spinning.

You remember, then, too, all was covered with snow?

It was the snow of our meeting.

It lay white before us, white as a blank sheet of paper,

And it seemed to me that we would write on this sheet the story of our love...

Such a snowfall, such a snowfall

Have not remember the local places.

And the snow did not know and fell,

And the snow did not know and fell

The winter was beautiful, beautiful and pure.

Snow spinning, flying, flying,

And the strawberries,

Sweeps winter sweeps

Everything before you.

On fallen on white,

On fallen on white,

On this pure weightless snow,

Lies down the very first,

Lies down the very first

And timid and timid

On your similar footprint.

Snow spinning, flying, flying,

And the strawberries,

Sweeps winter sweeps

Everything before you.

Open spaces,

Open spaces

To the farthest morning star.

And I believe that soon,

And I believe that soon

Your footprints will reach me in the snow.

Snow spinning, flying, flying,

And the strawberries,

Sweeps winter sweeps

Everything before you.

And the snow lies, as then white-white, like a blank sheet of paper.

And I want us to wander through the great city together again,

And that this magic snow would not become the snow of our separation!

The Chameleons UK - Nathan's Phase (acoustic)

Of all the faces that we wear

Sometimes joy, sometimes despair

The mask is gone, no mystery

Replaced by fake theology

It's just a phase I'm going through

It's true, it's just a phase I'm going through

you know

The streets of London are paved with lead

Just as my lungs are paved with lead

Wrap the voices in my head

Feels like I'm welded to this bed

It's just a phase I'm going through

It's true, it's just a phase I'm going through

you know

The streets of London are paved with lead

Just as my lungs are paved with led

Brush the cobwebs from my head

Feels like I'm welded to this bed

I'm not dead. It's just a phase I'm going through

And you - you're just a stranger passing through

Out of tune - with this phase I'm going through

You know - it's just a phase I'm going through

You know

Bob Mould - Lost Faith

In my sleep, I tell myself

Anything, everything

When I wake, my lips are sealed

No words said, no words said

I fray like worn-out threads

The more I fret, the less I mend

I've lost faith in everything

Everything, everything

I can see right through myself

No one there, no one there

Now I know why everyone has

Turned away from my despair

I sense I've let down friends

All mistakes, all I've said

I've lost faith in everything

Everything, everything

You really gotta stop this now

You let yourself get too far gone

When you stray from the ones who love you

It gets so hard to find your way back home

Life is so complicated

Don't let your hopes and dreams disappear

Baby, we all lose faith in troubled times

You know I'm gonna be right here

Every day, I ask myself

How and when does sadness end?

Many ways to hurt myself

Lost again, lost again

I know I let down friends

Last mistake, no time left

I've lost faith in everything

Everything, everything

You really gotta stop this now

This is your last chance to turn around

I know we all lose faith from time to time

You better find your way back now

Maybe this hurricane is made of silver

Maybe the hills we climb are laced with gold

And we all lose faith in troubled times

But you gotta find your way back home

In my sleep, I tell myself

Anything, everything

Curtis Walsh "Full Recovery"

Strength will come back honey

Keep your eyes on me

I promise time will fly

Keep your head held high

The world is at your feet

Some people's minds work funny

Just learn to let it be

You're fully in control

There's very few that know

The world is at your feet

So let go and stop keeping track

I hope you know I've got your back

'Cause patience and trust will lead to your full recovery

And in the settling dust I wrote this message for you to see

It said you should go and stop keeping track

And I hope you know I've got your back

If you've got mine

Now release the smoke from your lungs

And realise there's no turning back

Say the speech on your tongue

What's done has been done

Understand what you have

And I'll be here along the way

As long as that's what you want

To keep your shoulders strong

To keep your head screwed on

Avoiding all the cracks

So let go and stop keeping track

I hope you know I've got your back

'Cause patience and trust will lead to your full recovery

And in the settling dust I wrote this message for you to see

It said you should go and stop keeping track

I hope you know I've got your back

So patience and trust will lead to your full recovery

And in the settling dust I wrote this message for you to see

So won't you go and stop keeping track?

I hope you know I've got your back

If you've got mine

A new song from Bad Wolves.

This is more related to alcoholism/drug use in general, but with the connection it shares to benzos in terms of similarities in withdrawl, I like its message.

(Video may be a slight trigger, but it ends well also. I believe it is to illustrate the point that no matter how bad things get, theres a happy ending).

----- Lyrics incase you would rather not watch the video -----

For a moment I can wait

It's a fight I guess I'll never know

For a moment I can wait

I'm holdin' on a hope

And I know you're stoned, I can see it

The struggle's gettin' old

For a moment I can wait

'Cause you said you're sober

Lyin' 'n' I can't get closer

Tell me should I let you go?

Tell me should I let you go?

'Cause you said you're sober

Lyin' 'n' I can't get closer

Tell me should I let you go?

Tell me should I let you go?

Every moment I'm awake

It's a fight that you could never know

Every moment I'm awake

I'm clingin' on to hope

And I feel so low, but I'm dealin'

The struggle's gettin' old

Every moment I'm awake

But I'm getting sober

Tryin' but I can't get closer

Baby, did you let me go?

Baby, did you let me go?

Now I'm getting sober

Tryin' but I can't get closer

Baby, did you let me go?

Baby, did you let me go? (Go)

On 'n' on we pray

Thinkin' 'bout time 'n' our mistakes

Thinkin' 'bout time, thinkin' 'bout time

'Cause it's about time (Go)

On 'n' on we pray

Thinkin' 'bout time 'n' our mistakes

Thinkin' 'bout time, thinkin' 'bout time

'Cause it's about time (It's 'bout time)

So don't say it's over

Waitin' here while you get sober

I'm never gonna let you go

I'm never gonna let you go

So don't say it's over

Waitin' here while you get sober

I'm never gonna let you go

I'm never gonna let you go (Go)

On 'n' on we pray

Thinkin' 'bout time 'n' our mistakes

Thinkin' 'bout time, thinkin' 'bout time

'Cause it's about time (It's about time)

On 'n' on we pray

Thinkin' 'bout time 'n' our mistakes

Thinkin' 'bout time, thinkin' 'bout time

It's about time

Doctor of your body (inspiring song in Russian):

I woke up early in the morning,

I saw the sky through the open door.

This means almost nothing,

Except that maybe I'll live.

I will live one more day,

I'm not terminally ill.

But I'm in the hospital, sterile and white,

And I won't get out of here until the arrival of,

I won't get out of here until the arrival of

The doctor of my body.

I won't lie my doctor :

Something like this happened before,

The illness isn't new for me.

This means almost nothing,

Except that maybe we'll live.

We must be careful in choice of words,

Leave the hopeless behind

You can't cure all the world and that's the point

Let it save only those who can be saved

Save those who can be saved.

The doctor of your body

I woke up early in the morning,

I saw the sky through open door.

This means almost nothing,

Except that maybe I'll live,

I will live one more day.

And there will be one more drunken night,

As though a dusty moth took a seat on pillow for a while.

And as if I wasn't sick and wasn't a doctor,

I wasn't sick and wasn't a doctor.

The doctor for my body
