When I was in acute WD I wanted salt and sugar. It was crazy how much I craved it and then eating it made me crave it more plus it made all my symptoms umpteen times worse. Now, I avoid sugar and processed foods like crazy. I had a muffin yesterday and just regretted it. Now during my taper I can tell when WD has increased because I crave sugar products and things like muffins that are carb heavy with sugar.

I so want a big plate filled with nice, thick home-made biscuits and thick, Southern-style sausage gravy. Biscuits and gravy. Carb city, so it's a no-no for me, but it sure sounds good on this cold morning!
