According to Wikipedia:

Sheela later stated that Rajneesh took sixty milligrams of valium each day and was addicted to nitrous oxide.

For anyone that hasn't heard of Osho:

Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh (Osho)

I remember the "Rajneeshees" growing up, but had never heard the name "Osho".

For those that weren't around or don't remember them, they and their guru Osho built a large encampment in a small town in Oregon. At some point they decided that they wanted to take over the government of that town, and their plan was to make most of the townspeople sick by infecting them with salmonella right before the election. They did so by growing salmonella at their compound and then spraying it around town, particularly at a local restaurant salad bar. They made about 750 people sick and put 45 in the hospital, but fortunately no one died.

Turns out they were not the fountain of spiritual enlightenment that they made themselves out to be.
