Looking to quit Ativan - took 1mg a day for about a year

Hello,

So I will admit I feel a bit terrified of benzos after reading online about them.  Stuff like if I don't taper slow enough I will have protracted withdrawal symptoms for 2 years after I quit, etc.

 

Makes me with I never took this stuff at all.

 

However, I wanted to come here looking for help and advice because I gather that I may not require as long a taper as some others do, because of my small dose and length of use.

 

Anyway, I'm hoping I can taper over 2 months. Just reducing by 1/4 of a pill at a time.
