Old Sal,  yes at 6 months I noticed a very definite turn for the better.  Just today I was thinking how I never think of or fear the pain anymore.  I remember it.  Like an old wound.  But most of the time, I’m just living my best life.

I truly appreciate the response! I still feel these withdrawal symptoms and was wondering if it was my anxiety coming back or the withdrawal or both.

According to your signature, you are just about 3 months off of Xanax after being on it a long time.  Acute WD can last 3 months for some.  Everything you are experiencing is from the BENZOS.

 

It can take some time for symptoms to completely fad and disappear.

 

Don't give up hope...
