What happened to the new prayer thread?

I thought that Becksblue started a prayer thread, but now I see it’s gone.

The thread was removed because a 'prayer request' thread is not a discussion.

So in other words we can discuss prayer, but not demonstrate or explicitly show that we are doing it in any way. I guess there isn’t really anything I can do but accept that that’s the rule, although I find it sad.

I think a 'prayer request' thread is a little more than that.

 

I've not discussed this with the Admins, so they might take a different view, but since we have relaxed the rules on Buddie Blogs, I think requests for prayers - as part of an active and more wide-ranging blog - would be acceptable. Though, if a blog develops into a 'prayer requests' thread, it would cease being a blog. So, 'discretion' should be your watchword.

 

Please keep in mind that BenzoBuddies is not a faith-based support forum. We have allowed for limited references to faith and discussions around the subject of faith. Whereas, the vast majority of forums would simply disallow all such content.
