Shingrix vaccine for shingles

Has anyone here gotten this? If yes, any side effects or adverse reactions? What age were you when you got it?

I got it a couple of years ago after getting the original and it went really well.  The first shingles shot gave me a welt but the Shingrix didn't do that, I recommend it.

Well let me think, since everything for me is divided into pre, current and hopefully post pandemic, I'd say I had it in 2019.

I had the Zostovax, but I've been told I need to get the Shingrix. I'm in no hurry, the old one is protecting me, just not as well as the new one. My doctor is letting me wait, but I was overdue for a Tdap, which I got in December 2020. She didn't want to give me Shingrix at the same time. My next vaccine will hopefully be COVID (I am eligible in phase 1c in my state, but they are still doing 1b), governer says 1c will be in March. I've heard the Shingrix is better tolerated than the older Zostavax. I hope to get that one done once I've had the COVID vaccine.
