There is a book that I'm sure many of have heard of or read ourselves, it is one my father read when I was fourteen and has given to me three different times during my life. I am finally reading it now, and it is totally blowing my mind for its usefulness and how it relates to everything I am going through, but it is not a book specifically about rehabilitation from drugs: THE SEVEN HABITS OF HIGHLY EFFECTIVE PEOPLE, BY STEPHEN R. COVEY. This book is a great moral booster plus it has helped 25 million people (at last count) deal with everday encounters aND have a complete paradigm shift from the gloomy outlook on life, to a more positive upbeat outlook. Check it out!

We were required at work to take the course regarding this book.  Haven't thought about it but maybe that's what is helping me to stay positive.  Lord knows I haven't always been this way.  :o

I have met others that said the exact thing, either work or school required them to read this book. I believe it should be required reading for anyone breathing air, the world would be a much happier place! :smitten:

I love it too, we are all frail at one time or another, but to see the little bird living its life is awe inspiring.
