Doxycycline 3 years post taper from K

Hello, 

Recently, I had to take doxycycline for a sinus infection and oddly enough, I have started to experience fairly bad anxiety almost immediately after taking it. It’s been almost three years since I finished my 18-month taper from Klonopin.
 

I know to stay away from fluoroquinolone antibiotics but doxy isn’t a fluoroquinolone. Has anyone experienced anxiety symptoms after a non-fluoroquinolone antibiotic?

I have taken non-quinolone antibiotics (cefdinir and cephalexin) without issues.  However, I‘ve read about other members who have had issues with doxycycline. See for example:
