Looking for suggestions regarding which antibiotic may be benzo recovery friendly if my GP prescribes one for a likely ear infection, which seems to be persistent and left over from an a pretty intense RSV infection from last February. [re...] Posted May 23 Share Posted May 23 While RSV itself isn't treated with antibiotics, since it is a viral infection, ear infections following RSV are usually bacterial and are typically treated with amoxicillin. I've been put on amoxicillin clavulanate (Augmentin) a few times since coming off clonazepam. Very early in my recovery, it did seem to cause a slight uptick in anxiety, but nothing unbearable.
