Got off 11MG Xanax Prescribed Daily!

Hello, my name is John, and I was prescribed Xanax helps me sleep. My prescriber gave me no instructions on how bad this drug was. He eventually bumped me uptp 11MG a day! I know, right?

 

I was able to taper down to 2MG Clonazepam and worked on the conversion of Diazepam.

 

After going to rehab, having seizures, being cut cold turkey, I knew something was wrong. I know have access to Dr.s to De-prescribe everyone the right way if you need help!

I'm glad you joined our community.  Congratulations being benzofree sorry for what you had to go through to get there.  When was your last dose?  That was a huge amount they gave you.  You’ve gone through such a lot, forced  to cold turkey, can only imagine what you went through (ouch)  Unfortunately some doctors are still uneducated about benzo withdrawal. . What symptoms do you have at the moment ? We have some valuable information on this forum. Please post questions for members to respond.

That is an insane dose. Everytime i see someone that was given those kinds of MGs, i just think how on earth could any dr. think that was a good plan.

That's a crazy amount fairplay bud. Xanax is stronger then diazepam ain't it?. All the best
