[Me...]
Hello Do you think touching alcohol can bring back symptoms? I would like to be a waitress and obviously alcohol spills over glasses, etc I would NOT drink it But I’m scared to even touch it I also don’t want this to hold me back from finding a good job. [de...]
I think you'll be just fine Meganz. I don't drink it, but I've handled it. Absolutely no problem. Don't turn a good job down Meganz.
[Ga...]
Hi Meganz. I agree with deadwoodgone that you should have no problem handling glasses with alcohol in them. BTW, Are you going to keep your daycare open? Hugs, GG
[Na...]
Physically touching alcohol? No I don't think there's a risk there. Touching it by swallowing some .... yes that will cause some people issues. In fact I'd say most post benzo suffers can't return to their former levels of drinking from what I've seen. Some can drink a glass of wine or a beer every now and then and get away with it. A few can probably do more. But some people are pretty intolerant of alcohol in any significant quantity after recovering from benzos. If I ever recover I'll never drink the stuff - but I wouldn't worry about touching it.
[Br...]
At 40 months off I drink a glass of wine every time I go out on date nights. No issues here. I started really slow to see how I felt. Now I drink full glasses. I dont overdo it and love mocktails now.
