Itchy skin

Recommended Posts

My skin is dry and itchy, there is a spot on my left ankle that it’s itchy, but doesn’t look red or anything, it has spread to the top of my foot. Some days it is worse than others.

Has anyone experienced this kind of itchy skins.?

Thanks.

Well, I'm experiencing TERRIBLE itching and rashes from having taken Lasix. I'm very allergic to sulfa drugs and didn't realize it.

I've just been using calamine lotion. Sometimes I use isopropyl alcohol, but that dries the skin and makes it itch even more. It is soothing at the beginning, though, because I have all these sores from where I've been scratching.

If you have any ideas, please tell me. I can't take steroids or antihistamines.

Check out SSR1975 success story. She has listed that she took Astragalus 500 mg and it stopped the itching in it's tracks. I am not suggesting you try this and just making an observation of what has worked for someone else.
