[jr...]
Following, and hoping everyone gets better sleep including jrm97. Thanks, I’m recently having a very hard time with insomnia, lately, too. I’m sorry to hear that, j. I hope it gets better for you. You’ve really been very supportive of me, which I’m thankful for. Sorry I don’t really offer much support back.

Sorry I don’t really offer much support back. Definitely no apologies necessary... please don’t feel like u have to keep score with support here, or with me. I’ve been going through this hell for many years. Like I was implying before, I truly believe you’ll do good over time, and won’t end up long term very damaged and will still have life ahead of you. It brings me comfort seeing people like u, who have or will have (whether you believe it or not) a hope and a future. I know you’re thankful... and so am I. If u ever feel like doing me a favor...then NEVER give up !! Nothing helps me more !! j
[md...]
Hello, here is a post with some of my history. I wanted to ask you about your experience with the Coleman ins, do you think it may be at helpful? http://www.benzobuddies.org/forum/index.php?topic=229538.
[Th...]
If the Coleman institute helped, it wasn't immediate. I had already been off for slightly over 6 weeks from a CT before I did his treatment. His protocol is for getting people off the drugs quickly (7 days or so) by using Flumazenil (low dose) over 7 days. Many have had good success getting off Benzos this way, but it by no means guarantees you won't have WD or that it could be severe? It is expensive and he only has two locations now that do the treatment. It may have shortened the length of my WD, but I have no way to prove or know that. I just can’t understand why this has gotten so bad.

The book is interesting regardless, but if you want something that is really geared at helping you sleep, try The Sleep Solution: https://www.amazon.com/Sleep-Solution-Why-Your-Broken/dp/0399583610/ I've implemented most of his suggestions and it helped a little. But time is really what does it...
[Fl...]
I appreciate this sharing. I've being a chronic insomniac since 14. I am now 46 and still struggles with falling asleep every night. Bedtime is scary for me and it is scary because I wonder if the night ahead is the same toss and turn again. It'll be nice if I don't need to work and let my natural drowsiness happen at daybreak and get out of bed at 10am.....😪😪

My last 3 weeks on the job I had NO perceptable sleep. It got so bad that each time I answered the phone at work to take an order, I could not understand one word that was being said to me. That was my last day. I'll never forget how terrible the false guilt was when that happened. As if could have controlled that. Hoping things turn around for you eventually. [Ka...]
I’m only 206 days off and agree. We just look for anything to help so we spend money, try this or that. I agree with just laying there and not trying sleep hygiene. Benzo WD is different than any other beast and our body needs rest. Staying calm regardless is the key.
