[po...]
Clarifications and corrections PUBLISHED: 10:55, 21 May 2014 | UPDATED: 10:55, 21 May 2014 An article published by the Daily Mail and MailOnline on 7 March 2013 entitled "Drug that steals women's lives: It's more addictive than heroin, with horrifying side-effects" contained defamatory allegations about Ms Baylissa Frederick. The article incorrectly stated that Ms Frederick had been addicted to the drug Valium (when she had in fact been addicted to clonazepam) and that her life was still blighted as a result of her addiction to prescription drugs. Some readers of the article familiar with Ms Frederick's public accounts of her recovery from addiction were led to believe that Ms Frederick had misled the public by claiming to have recovered her health and encouraging others to be inspired by her example, when in fact she was still suffering major side-effects. We have today publicly acknowledged that these allegations were incorrect and have accepted that Ms Frederick has recovered fully from her former addiction and has not given a misleading or contradictory account of her experiences. We have apologised for any harm and distress caused by the article to Ms Frederick and have amended the online article accordingly and agreed to pay her damages together with her legal costs. If you wish to report an inaccuracy, please write to the Readers’ Editor, Daily Mail, Northcliffe House, 2 Derry Street, London W8 5TT or email corrections@ dailymail.co.uk Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2633969/Clarifications-corrections.html#ixzz32ZAaSOnM Follow us: @MailOnline on Twitter | DailyMail on Facebook

[Br...]
yes, I know - I hope the damages are going to help as well. That will be interesting. Didn't Bliss withdraw her books from sale while her complaint against the newspaper was proceeding?
[Fl...]
Here is a link to a post of Baylissas regarding this inaccuracy, legal fight and subsequent apology. I especially like where she says her backbone is made of titanium. I think every one of us gets that. All of us have titanium backbones! https://www.madinamerica.com/2014/05/daily-mail-newspaper-finally-apologises/
