Can I swallow a pill into my lungs without noticing it?

I'm quite troubled by a thought that's been nagging at me. Yesterday, when I took my usual medication (two normal-sized pills), I'm concerned that I might not have swallowed them properly. Despite not experiencing any choking or coughing at the time, I did feel an unusual sensation in the back of my throat, which isn't typical when I take my meds. This has led me to worry that the pills might have somehow ended up in my lungs or somewhere they shouldn't be, potentially causing complications or even putting my life at risk.

Adding to my anxiety is the fact that a few days ago, I experienced delirium and severe withdrawal symptoms from Pregabalin, which has left me feeling paranoid. Though I recognize this paranoia, I still feel compelled to seek reassurance from others, as I can't shake the fear that there's a ticking bomb of sorts inside me.
