Please Read - Change In Long Hauler Group Policy

Guys,

In the past we've not actively policed the Long Hauler group to be exclusively limited to "Long Haulers" - i.e. members who are 18 months or more past the end of their taper or CT. However, going forward we will be doing so.

This group was created to cater to those of us who are unfortunately experiencing long lasting chronic illness as the result of benzo/z-drug use and discontinuation. 

Some of our Long Hauler members can find it upsetting at times to be given advice or suggestions from members who either haven't finished tapering or have only recently done so, no matter how well intentioned they may be. Therefore, if you happen to be a member that doesn't fall in the Long Hauler category we respectfully ask that you seek your support in the other areas of the site that are more oriented towards your situation. You're certainly free to look around and read the content, but our intent is to limit posting to those that are actually experiencing long protracted issues after discontinuation.

It's not that we don't like you and please don't take it personally, it's just that this group was created to support a specific group of people that frankly have a situation that is very hard to comprehend if you aren't someone that has experienced first hand.

And all of us that are here sincerely hope you never do.
