Questions about Silexan/lavender oil pills. Are they safe?

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to stay off all meds during ct withdrawal, but the panic/anxiety is unbearable. I was told that Silexan/lavender oil pills can help with anxiety. Has anyone taken these? I read that lavender oil is poisonous so I’m confused and concerned. I don’t know if that refers to the lavender essential oil you’d buy in a bottle?

I cannot physically/mentally handle the panic so I guess in need to get over my fear of possibly taking something. My ears were destroyed during an acoustic trauma and I have hyperacusis. When I quit meds, it got 100 times worse along with tinnitus - I’m terrified of taking anything that might be ototoxic.

If anyone know about this supplement and whether it’s safe to take during benzo withdrawal, I would be extremely thankful. I was told to check and see if it is safe during withdrawal. I’m currently only talking propranolol and I don’t know if it will interact.

Thanks everyone. If anyone has any other supplement suggestions, I would be very grateful.

Hi Scsred8,

I just starting taking the Silexan and have had no problems with it and it really seems to help me. calms my nervous system down.  I also take magnesium at night before bed to help with sleep.
