Here's a very interesting video from the BBC today, entitled "Antidepressants: Should we talk about side-effects?" The issues are so similar to those affecting people who take benzodiazepines for long periods of time, e.g. lack of informed consent, lack of information about how serious the side effects can be, lack of information about how to get off the medication safely, lack of information about withdrawal effects, etc.
