Hello rqwarrio Welcome to benzobuddies.

 

I would like to answer your question first, I would start tapering the Benzo first.  Its generally advised reducing between 5/10% every 10/14 days, although this is too fast for some of us.  You can slow it down to a rate you are comfortable with.  You will get some withdrawal symptoms but they are temporary. We have a great community, you will get plenty of support to get you through this.

 

The Ashton Manual  is a great resource,  I found it reassuring, reading about possible withdrawal symptoms with explanations. CHAPTER III
