Hi notallthat,  can you ask your doctor to give you smaller dosage pills? Like .5 mg’s for now until you get lower in dosage? The smaller doses are easier to cut in my opinion. I started at 3 mg and soon will be on 1.28125 mg.  I went too fast in the beginning but once I hit 1.5 mg I started to go slow.  I’m doing a simple dry cut taper for now. I’m also doing symptom based taper. By my signature you can see how I have been cutting my dose.

 

I hope someone else chimes in.

If you're on both Ambien and Klonopin, you might want to start with the Ambien first because the half-life is very short.
