First all let me say how much I appreciate this group. With so many doctors seemingly clueless about the effects it's nice to know I'm not crazy. I've been on Clonazepam for 3 months now and am in the middle of a taper and it is awful. Glad I found you guys.

We wish we didn't have to be here, we wish the rest of the world understood how these drugs affect us.  Can you tell us a little about your taper, how are you doing it?  We typically suggest reducing by about 5-10% every couple of weeks or whatever your symptoms will allow, we find tapering this way can keep us functional.  We hope people who have been on the drug a short time can go a little faster but its not always possible.

 

What was your initial dose and where are you now?
