Hollow chest?!

So I ended up going to the ER that recommended me to this rehab place, but I went to the ER cause my watch said i was in afib.

 

They checked me and i was good, but for the past few days i get like this weird surge of energy and then my chest feels numb or hollow.

 

Idk it is a weird experience and just wanted to know if anyone else has had this. Im at this detox place and they just put me on phenobarbital, and i feel better but still have that hollow feeling in chest.

Are you still on 1.5 mgs Ativan?  You’re currently in a detox facility?

 

I know what you’re feeling is scary but heart and chest issues are very common, I found comfort in reading the symptom list and the possible reasons we feel them in chapter 3 of The Ashton Manual.

Yes I ended up in a detox facility and they put me on barbituates sadly. I was having serious paradoxical effects taking the med to where it just gave me even worse anxiety. Same thing with the meds they gave me but I’m going to see what happens. I’m super sensitive to medication.

It started when my akathasia started after just a short time on zopiclone.

It never went away for me
