[...]
The chart I created lets you reduce a tiny amount each day. It includes crushing your benzo and mixing with a powder. But you said you want to reduce once every 4 weeks, right? That would be a totally different situation. If you want to reduce once every 4 weeks, I recommend you reduce 0.1 mg every 4 weeks. That should be a safe amount.
[Bo...]
if i reduce 0.1mg every 4 weeks how long will it take to get off 1.05mg?
[...]
44 weeks. You would to 10 reductions of 0.1mg and then one more for the final reduction of 0.05mg.

[Bo...]
and can i do that with three doses of the compounding capsules?
[...]
and can i do that with three doses of the compounding capsules? That depends on how the pharmacist makes the capsules. I don't understand how you get the pharmacist to make your dosages. Can you make a request that the pharmacist gives you 3 pills which add up to 0.95 mg? [Bo...]
yes right now i'm on 1.05mg, the pharmacy makes 3 capsules of 0.35mg which adds up to 1.05mg a day.
[...]
Well then you're in good hands. Just have the pharmacist make 3 doses according to your needs for each reduction.
[Bo...]
not really sure how to taper when you get on low doses?
[...]
For each of months in the table below, have the pharmacist divide the dose into 3 pills. I bet the pharmacist can do this, all the way to zero. If the pharmacist says they cannot do low doses, let me know and we can do something else. Month 1 - 1.05 mg Month 2 - 0.95 mg Month 3 - 0.85 mg Month 4 - 0.75 mg Month 5 - 0.65 mg Month 6 - 0.55 mg Month 7 - 0.45 mg Month 8 - 0.35 mg Month 9 - 0.25 mg Month 10 - 0.15mg Month 11 - 0.05 mg Month 12 - 0 - all done! [Bo...]
Bob 7 do you think this taper is too fast?
[...]
I think the taper is average. However, everyone is different, so keep a journal of your progress so in a few weeks, you can read the journal and make careful decisions about slowing down or speeding up the taper. [...]
Your signature says you are taking 2mg but in your posts, you say 1.05mg, the pharmacy makes 3 capsules of 0.35mg which adds up to 1.05mg a day. Which is it? How much are you taking now?
[Bo...]
i dropped to 0.96mg, 0.32 3 times a day, getting anxiety, that was about 10% cut, right?
[...]
It was 8.6% reduction. Hold until you feel like your symptoms are tolerable enough to continue. Try to learn non-benzo methods to address the anxiety.
