Yes mine was 5.3 in mid Sept., but that was before I was given versed at my colonoscopy!

I honestly have not been the same since.

I've have gained back almost 10 lbs, but I'm eating way less than I was before?

I hardly eat enough in calories to gain weight.

I'm just so confused?

You had a continuous monitor put in ?

did you need anesthetic for that?

every time I eat I get headaches, little every time

I asked the ER in August, but they didn't know!

I'm just so tired of all this and I've still got years to taper probably!

My kids will be grown by the time I'm better

I did just see that my prolactin was  39.9!!!

not sure what that means!

I have one of those, actually two of them!

I'll have to start using it again!

Too much to keep track of!

Too much prolactin can mean a pituitary tumor, but I'm pretty sure I don't have that!

But it might also explain my engorged breasts!! Literally like Dolly Parton, again, new since colonoscopy, before they were flapjacks, as I had a mammogram etc. But with the high prolactin, it produces breastmilk!!!! WTF!!

I so done with this!!!

Winniedog,

Regarding your high prolactin, are you taking Reglan, Phenergan or Compazine?

Look into drugs that cause high prolactin. The thing is not only do the drugs I mentioned above cause high prolactin they can cause tardive dyskinesia and akathasia. Look at the meds you're taking and see if they caused the high prolactin.

If I remember correctly she's taking ketitofen. I don't know if that matters as it isn't supposed to have any antidopaminergic effects.

Thanks Miss Fortitude - good idea to check all of that.

I'd also lost a lot of weight, which I read could lead to high prolactin

I'm not taking Ketotifen anymore, but I was at the time of the test.

I'm only taking Trazodone and liquid Ativan now.

I'm going to be trying Blexten soon.

My special cardiologist for POTS thinks I may have MCAS, from taking some antibiotics in April - that started this whole mess of being put on Ativan for high HR
