What is your tapering jam/song?

That's a good one, Fighter.  We are going to dust this stuff, that's for sure.

How about, "Subterranean Homesick Blues", Bob Dylan.

"Johnny's in the basement mixn' up the medicine, I'm on the pavement thinkin' 'bout the government...".

Thing is, both me, and Johnny, are doing the mixing.  Johnny can weigh better than me.  8). He must have consulted with Builder.  :)

Dee

Haha Dee, good one! That made me actually laugh out loud, needed that! Johnny, you me and all of us, Mixin' it up, only I have to do it in my kitchen since I don't have a basement.

You made me laugh out loud then, Fighter. I needed it too.

Feels good to laugh.

We're mixin' it Fighter, and it's a good mix.

Dee

Edit: Used wrong user name. Got mixed up.  :D

The very obvious " I will survive" Gloria Gaynor. I was singing it out loud the other night when I got really mad about what the Doctor's drugs have done to me, and wanting it gone.

Heroes by David Bowie

...And the shame, was on the other side

Oh, we can beat them, forever and ever

Then we could be heroes just for one day

We can be heroes

We can be heroes

We can be heroes just for one day

We can be heroes...

p.s. This is an uplifting thread.  Great song choices everyone!  Thanks!

Dee's post about "Subterranean Homesick Blues", Bob Dylan  really made me laugh!!!!

David Bowie, my #1, is really helping me to get through this!

FreshStart01 Nice taste. lol. I'm 40 and also stuck in the 90's.

I really stopped liking music during w/d but it came back with Radiohead airbag which I've been listening to repeatedly.

Love em all, but gotta say, Twisted Sister had me head banging, and  hanging out the window!  Both way on the words, Lilyann.

It is a good thread, because start singing, and feel better, more positive.

Just shows how wrong they were about Rock & Roll.  It's therapeutic.

Oh my gosh, these are all so good! Love the twisted sister! Today, in my best Alicia Keys voice it's "This girl is on Fi-Yahhhhhhhhh!" 🔥 😂

I dated myself with Twisted Sister LOL, but I'll bet a lot of the younger people know "We're Not Gonna Take It."

On a side note, I think I had the same hairstyle as TS back in the day  >:D

Right now groovin out to Hall and Oates "I can't go for that." (No can do) I'm so old (43) and am stuck in the 80's and 90's. I too had huge aqua net hair! 😂

I dated myself with Bob Dylan.  8)

What about that old favourite  :)  "Sounds of Silence," Simon and Garfunkel?

To be sung softly to self when tinnitus is kicking in.

On days where you feel like crap. "Stayin' Alive" the BeeGees. On insomnia nights "Night Fever" the BeeGees. On dizzy days "You Spin Me Round" by Dead or Alive. 😂I hate listening to sad songs during taper. They have negative impact on my mood, but upbeat songs totally change my mood for the better!

90's jam warning.... Tubthumpin by Chumbawamba! Remember this one?!

"I get knocked down, but I get up again

You are never gonna keep me down

I get knocked down, but I get up again

You are never gonna keep me down

I get knocked down, but I get up again

You are never gonna keep me down

I get knocked down, but I get up again

You are never gonna keep me down"

When the ship comes in.

I love them all.  :D

i know you don't like the downbeat one's Fighter, but like forty do like Bob Dylan.  "Ship comes in", one of my all time favourites.  Thinking about having it played at my funeral.  8)  A long way away, right!  :)

Was thinking, "In My Time of Dyin''.  Bob Dylan.

It's got the Blues, but gives me strength.

I like old school rap Fighter so I'm going to look up all the ones you mentioned.

Think I'll check out "We be clubbin', but instead we be cuttin'" first.    😂

Having a bad nausea wave. 😢Just heard "Sweet Dreams" by Eurythmics. Brightened my day a little. That song is such a classic.
