For half a year I've had the Sensation

that every day my physical awareness

gradually reduced itself to the Point

where I barely percieve anything except

that I am aware.

My brain ist functioning Like I haven't slept in a year.

I can barely read, process what somebody days

or Just instead of fully Processing what ist Happening I can

Only process Like a very tiny Bit & this has been progressive

I feel awake and completely asleep at the Same time.

I did Not know where to Post it but has

anybody ever read something Like this?

As it's Not Just a minor issue but it literally affects

absolutely everything I do & I have no Idea why IT IS Happening and doesn't Seem to Stop progressing..

This is so beyond what I thought is possible

Has anybody an Idea? Been on benzos for 1,5 years

Hi,

I've Seen the study before.

But for me it's Not merely cognitive.

My whole awareness is affected. Like I can barely See Details or my brain is automatically Filtering Out cars, time perception & Other people when I am Out, which never happened before.

Also I am barely aware of the weather or anything outside me when I am inside..

I thought this is Just derealization but it progressed Like 100x over the last 6 months, it severely affects my functioning because I my information Processing ist 1/100 from what it used to be

i have the same sensation but i am on klonopin as well as suffering from a brain injury so i can't say it's the same reason as yours. it could be either thing or both, but i do know what you mean, it's hard to explain the lack of awareness feeling. you're just there. not really actively involving yourself in the environment around you. your eyes are open, but you're not 'looking'.

I could have good mood days but the awareness reduction progressed continuously. I Go Tell my GP tomorrow and See what He says. They don't Generally have good answers
