Good article.  But understand that in a large percentage of these cases, the medication is given to make the doctor's, caregiver's, institution staff's and even the family's lives easier, not the patient's.  This is similar to what's going on in rest homes for the elderly.  Everything runs more smoothly when everyone is drugged and drooling on themselves.
