Lyrica

Does anyone have an opinion or more substantive evidence on whether Lyrica is safe to use during a taper. I know its a GABA drug and I think it's controlled now but it does block glutamate as does a benzo. I also read it is not good for kidney or liver. People liken it to gabapentin but it's stronger and I believe more addicting. Thanks

Yes they made lyrica/pregabalin as a stronger version of gabapentin. 

I have a friend that had a 3 month withdrawal from it. She was on 900mg lyrica wich is considerably high.

I tried both gabapentin and lyrica and effect is the same.
