[Ma...]
As an admitted nerd, I read Scientific American when something catches my eye. I happened across this article yesterday and finally got around to reading it this morning. It's titled, "What happens in the brain when we experience a panic attack?" and is perhaps very uninformative for many of us. Nevertheless, it does provide some detail and new insight on panic and anxeity -- and the mechanisms that get revved up when we go through withdrawal that we hyper-sensitize by withdrawing from benzodiazepines. Unfortunately, if you don't have a subscription, it's going to cost to read the entire article. Apologies for that, but at least perhaps someone will find it interesting. http://www.scientificamerican.com/article.cfm?id=what-happens-in-the-brain-when-we-experience
